Where is the extra energy?

When I started this weight loss journey I kept hearing how after losing weight people felt so much better and had more energy.
My goal is to lose 50 pounds and I have already lost 40 of that. I am finding that I do not have more energy and in fact don’t really feel any different. Am I missing something?

Maybe you feel better because things are just easier. You don't see a difference because you have made a new normal?

Sleep, hydration, and food should all be helping you feel better... So make sure that you get enough sleep and eat enough..fruits And veggies, protein and carbs...and of course drink water... Everyone has days where I think they are just tired too...I know I do!

I found that I was tired if I worked out and failed to drink a recovery drink after my workout...after that AHA moment months ago, I made sure to religiously drink a recovery drink after every workout and my energy level is in the stratosphere...

The energy, right? Was I right? Did I win??

Like others have said, eat after a workout, it helps me.

Yeah, well you were supposed to notice that when you started exercising and stopped eating junk.
  • I felt the same way, and though I know my less than ideal eating was one factor, trying some HIIT training really gave me a crazy boost! It's a type of interval training. I definitely recommend Googling it :).
