I do 2-3 times a week but I use light weights to tone vs. heavy so I do not bulk up

I know that feeling all too well... I started by using a tredmill and slowly increasing my speed. I than kicked it up a notch and started doing inclines as high as it goes (15.0) and that helped with my endurance. I cannot say I LOVE it but I do enjoy it especially when I can watch tv or listen to music while I do it

My doctor suggested that in the beginning concentrate the most on cardio than slowly add weights but make sure to keep the weights light and do more reps so you do not bulk up:smile:

You have hit a platoe no worries. Change up your workout routine to get other muscles moving this will trick your body to shedding the weight off again.

I hear you, I am 37 and especially after I quit smoking the weight packed on. Good luck everyone! With a lot of hard work we can all achieve the numbers we want to be at :bigsmile:

HI I like to go back and forth between the two but what I had noticed is that I burn off more calories walking on tredmill at an incline of 15.0 at a speed between 3.0-3.5. I have noticed that I am getting toned more and my stemina since I am walking uphill is much better. As far as the smoking I hear you girl I was a pack…
