  • I suspect I have PCOS so I'm very interested in this topic. The only times I ever had success with weightloss was eating very low calorie (1200) and burning aroudn 600 calories at the gym 6 days/week, but that was not a sustainable diet -it gave me crazy headaches and I couldn't sleep, and in the end regained the 35 lbs I…
  • Congrats! This is really great! I've had my struggles with C25K and this is very inspiring :)
  • I agree with everyone above, the elliptical and outdoor running are two very different forms of exercise but do keep at both! C25K is amazing. It took me several tries to really get into it because I was a bit too heavy still to be running, but I never gave up. Recently I have found that running SLOWLY has made it much…
  • Bump! I've been considering the BM Fit Link. I've been using a HRM for exercise calories and setting my net goal at my BMR and that has just not worked well for me the past few months! My BMR is pretty low because I'm very short and have a crazy high body fat %.
  • Take comfort in knowing that this is the sorest you'll get! From what I've read and how I experienced the 30DS myself, if you make it past Day 3 - you'll make it. That's when the soreness goes away. I personally did not make it and decided to use other forms of exercise. But I still pull out 30 DS when I need a quick,…
  • Dette gikk jeg gjennom i fjor. Jeg begynte jo med MFP i slutten av oktober i fjor og lå veldig godt an med vekttap da julen meldte sin ankomst. Jeg hadde to viktige triks/regler mål. Først og fremst: å holde seg unna julegodt og julemat fram til jul i det minste. Holde seg på den smale vei til de store spisedagene er…
  • That is AMAZING! You've been a great inspiration to me when it comes to running. You made it and so will I! You look terrific too! Positively FIT!
  • Thank you so much, girls! You have both been great friends to me , you've really been there for the long haul!
  • YOU LOOK AMAZING! I am so proud of your progress. I know how hard you've worked for it and you inspire me to keep at it.
  • Mange gode tips her!
  • It's probably shin splints, not lactic acid. I had the same problem too when I started running. It's a bit better now but I still have to watch how I run and how much. Also, running downhill is the worst thing you can do when it comes to shin splints/knee pain. I love running downhill but I've been trying to avoid it. Not…
  • Louis CK is definitely my number 1 favourite. I enjoy a few on your list, especially Noel Fielding. LOVE the Boosh.
  • HOLY CRAP! You look like a brand new person! You've done an amazing job! Very impressed and very proud
  • I went through the whole thing too earlier this week. On Monday night I was so bloated that I looked pregnant too! I'd put on 6lbs and water weight, was craving everything in sight, especially bread and candy, and I couldn't resist. FUN TIMES!
  • EVERY BIT! Seriously though, too many to mention. I love the "Her?" bit, the chicken dance, everything George Michael. CAN'T WAIT FOR NEW EPS!
  • I am usually powerless over TOM cravings. Not only the cravings but around that time I'm insatiable too. So not only do I crave lots of bread, I'm still hungry even after I indulge. Also, period pains are so bad that I can't even exercise to make up for the extra calories! Yesterday was one of those days, and I'd only…
  • That sounds exactly like me when I started! And, well, still sounds like me now, especially the food part! I hated exercise and especially going to the gym, and now I start to get restless if I don't exercise regularly! It's all about finding something you enjoy - or at least don't hate 100%
  • I was very scared to start working out at the gym because I go to a University affiliated gym and everyone there is in their early 20s or younger, and everyone is FIT. At first I would only work out an hour before closing time at night, when I was sure there wouldn't be too many eyes on me. I let that initial fear go but…
  • I've been off the wagon for a couple weeks now. I just feel very unmotivated. This is because I haven't been losing much AT ALL sin February, maybe 5 lbs total, that I just put right back regularly. So the past 2 weeks, I've been wavering. At first it was because of my birthday weekend, there was a big party and…
  • Wow, that belly is just GONE! Great work :)
  • I don't have any advice of my own to give you. I'm gonna follow this post, just because I'm interested in what people might recommend. I've suffered through an endless plateau too, switching up calories, exercise, everything - without any change. I've dropped about 2 kg siden February (usually gaining the weight back…
  • I went from a 38/40 DDD to now a 34/36 DD. For sports bras I had to wear a regular, no-wire bra under a Large sports bra, now I just use a sports bra in Medium. I do like that my chest is shrinking, but they just look terrible now. Like so many before have said, like deflated balloons. Saggy, wrinkly, with stretch marks.…
  • It would be more prudent to change your overall activity level to active or lightly active. Even though you do burn more during the day than a sedentary worker would, your body probably doesn't burn those calories as it would occasional exercise sessions, cause it's used to this level of activity.
  • I started C25K a couple times and struggled too much with it to ever get past Week 3. The first time I tried it was over Christmas and I ran both on the treadmill at home and outside and I found it a LOT easier outside. But I still struggled with it a lot - especially with shin splints! The second time I tried C25K, I was…
  • Awesome!!! Congrats  I'm currently stuck in a 4 month plateau, right at the cusp of "finally" hitting both the overweight class according to BMI, and Onederland. Thanks for giving me renewed hope that this loss is probably juuust around the corner
  • 27 but turning 28 next week :)
