Runner here. My PR 5k is 24:55, 10k is 52:49 and 1/2 is 2:00:06. I stopped running for a bit after that so I'm a good bit slower now.

I love both! Don't get to play/watch as much as I use too but I fit it in when I get a chance. Watching through naruto right now but have seen quite a few Anime.

I never got around to getting into EVE but I did play the other space MMO that didn't last long... Earth and Beyond.

I don't get to play much anymore but I enjoy RPGs and most FPS. Before mariage I was a huge MMO gamer but that has come to a stop as well and I haven't played WoW in over a year! I am very curious about Everquest Next however. All time favorite MMOs in order EQ Anarchy Online Final Fantasy 11 DAoC WoW EQ2 Yea, I know WoW…

Personally I followed the workouts on the Fitness buddy app and have had some decent success so far. Also bodybuilding.com is a great source if you are interested in weight lifting.

First off your starving yourself, so stop doing that! I went down that road to and felt like complete *kitten* on a daily basis. I'm 6'4" 210lbs and was trying to maintain 1500 cals a day. It was hell. If you want to increase your size I say go for a bulk, but do it slow and do it smart. Find your maintenance and eat about…

You sound like my wife, that is what she would tell me whenever I would suggest she deserved better than me. Those moments usually ended in tears from the both of us and me realizing how incredibly blessed I was/am to have such an amazing woman to be my strength during those times.

Wow, where to start. I guess the large part of my weight gain all started in 2009. I got married in Nov 2009 and was laid off in Dec 2009. People say your first year of marriage is the hardest and we had unemployment to throw into that mix! Top that off with making the decision of getting pregnant becuase surely in 9…

Garmin 410 currently. Have the 620 on pre-order but the estimated ship date keeps getting pushed back! grrrrr..

Where did you get this information from? My HRM has me burning anywhere between 425-550 calories on a 35 minute run, depending on speed / distance covered. I've always ate mine back and have always lost weight doing so... 49-51% seems way to high of a % mistake, what would even be the point of using such a device? 10 - 15%…

Hello from Alabama!! Name's Jimmy. I started running May of last year at 245 lbs 6'4". I have continued to run and between the running and dieting I had lost down to 194lbs. Unfortunetly we went on vacation this year to the beach in July and since then I have had a very hard time finding my dieting groove again and thus am…

Not sure if someone has mentioned it but you could start with Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. All you need is a set of light hand weights. Its a great workout and only 25 mins.
-
Just walk / run the last mile. Gradually decrease the walk cycle and increase the run until you are running the whole last mile. Or if you can currently run 2 miles without stopping you can just add .25 miles to the last run of the week for 4 weeks until you hit 3 miles.

Timing yourself and actually participating in a 5K are still very different. You will find yourself running faster in the 5K. Plus you still have a few weeks. Given your time you just gave me I'm going to say you will run it somewhere in the 33-34 min range. So be sure to udpate me :) Also feel free to come on over to…

When I first started C25K I just did the recommended 3 days a week. Once I finished the C25K I would not run anything less that 3.1 miles, I soon bumped it up to 4 days a week and started slowly increasing my miles one of those days. Since that point I have ran 6 5Ks improving my time from 34:13 to 25:46 and I have ran one…

If used properly it will do exactly what it's meant to do, get weight off. However, you can't eat a bag of cheetos and then feel guilty about it and simply not log it, that just counter productive and will get you nowhere. Be honest about what you eat and LOG EVERYTHING. You do that and you will start to see the weight…

I am sure that is very difficult for your wife seeing people come in with all those health problems. My BP has came way down since I have lost weight. Typically its in the 120s/70s range now. I think for the most part diet/exersice can fix most health problems that arise. I know it won't solve everything as some things I…

I really didn't have to do anything. I told her I wanted us to start running and since she was wanting to lose weight anyways she just said OK. So far it's really worked out for us.
