  • So, it's been a few days since I checked in. I have been over in calories. I missed working out yesterday, and today is one of my days off of working out. Tomorrow is a new day, and I am going to plan better for my day!
  • Thank You!!!!
  • Of course any fruit or veggie. I also like hummus and celery. You can also make your own pita/tortilla chips to use in the hummus. If I think of anything else, I'll get back to you :)
  • Feel free to add me as well!
  • Checking in for Day 4....I probably went over in calories since i had a "free" dinner last night. Went to the Burger Bar and had a veggie burger, no bun, sweet potato fries, and our waitress gave us free dessert which wasn't bad. To hear me say that the dessert wasn't bad, and I totally love sweets is kind of amazing. I…
  • Day 3 was definitely better for me than Day 2. I remained within my calorie goal and I logged everything. I worked out with my trainer tonight, so I'm maintaining the working out 5 days a week. Flossed again :) I'm debating on whether or not to allow myself to have a "free" meal tomorrow night. I know I can't allow myself…
  • I totally understand where you are at. It does pass and you are doing the right thing by reaching out for help! Tell yourself you are beautiful and loved every day. I'm sure your family loves you unconditionally (and your friend does too!) Just remember how cute you felt when you dressed up! Revisit that feeling.
  • Day 2 was a bust food wise. I had difficulty staying away from sugar. I did log everything in the food diary. I did 50 minutes of cardio on the arc trainer at the gym. Followed through with the healthy habit of flossing :)
  • Day 1 not too bad...Only 30 calories over. I logged everything. Walked for 20 minutes with the boyfriend. I committed to exercising 5 days a week. Tues and Fri are my days off from working out and I even walked!!! My good habit was flossing. I flossed!!!
  • juliequilts: absolutely, we can be a support to each other. I know you can do it. My official day 1 was today. I know my hardest day is going to be day 8. I have never made it past that.
  • Welcome! I'm new too and finding that this is an amazing site! Totally understand that living at college is difficult. My advice other than all the helpful stuff already posted is to carry around a bottle of water and chew gum if you're feeling the urge/craving and not hungry. Feel free to add me.
  • no worries, i'll add you
  • Hi Mary! I feel the same way and need all of the support and accountability partners I can get. I am looking at this as a lifestyle change and am on the road to being a healthier person. I know I feel better and have more energy when I eat healthy. Feel free to add me as a friend. The more friends and accountability…
  • Ok...I'm new at MFP and found your challenge! Here goes: Goals: 1. Stay true to my calorie goal and don't go over. 2. Log-in and count everything EVERY day. 3. Work out 5 days a week. Habit: Floss every day. I choose not to have a free day because once I allow myself to eat something unhealthy I can't seem to stop. Thanks…
  • Welcome! I'm new too and need to be held accountable. That's why I'm trying the site. Excited to see how this helps me to stay motivated. Feel free to add me as a friend.
  • I am new to this as well and feel the exact same way! Feel free to add me:smile:
