this sounds fantastic. Im doing research to see if there are food restrictions in terms of bring food. I think I can manage the airport and plane but just worried about being there for 2 weeks. So far Im not seeing many options but Im hoping for the best

@zanyterp my fasting glucose has been 120. After meals 105ish. I don’t do another a1c until mid aug. not taking insulin. I am grateful that my numbers are lower.

Yes the scale is a liar...and it’s hard when you have weight to lose not to rely on it. I agree 100% that is more than about weight. The weight is also important to get out of obesity however. So it’s so hard. The non weight related things I’ve noticed is more energy and better mood-which has felt amazing. Just gets…

I dont think I can add fasting right now..it all seems too much. I will consider it however. Thanks for the suggestion. In terms of calories, I was thinking of lowering to around 1400 to see if that makes a difference. Currently im around 1670 or so. I am 250lbs so I am wondering if 1200 would be starvation for me.

This is just about the end of my first week and Ive only lost about 2 lbs and my fasting bg's are still in the high 120 range, despite eating low carb (yesterday I had 10 carbs total). Im not too concerned about the after dinner numbers but its the fasting one that I want to get…
