Unfortunately I am not on thyroid meds at the moment. I just got insurance this month and haven't found a doctor to take it yet. I'm hoping I can get in soon, after we get rid of this snow. Welcome! :) If you're serious about losing weight, this is the place to be. I was here about 6 months ago but wasn't serious about it, and it didn't help. I just came back a week or two ago and so far am doing awesome. I think it's all about your mindset. If you're ready, it'll happen. Good luck!

If you do cauliflower and potatoes 1/2 and 1/2 it will save you some calories. I add fat free sour cream to my dishes that would usually call for gravy or sauce of some type. You *have* to make small goals. Forget about the 100 pounds for now. Start with 5 pounds. Then another 5. And another 5. If that gets easy at any point, go with a 10 pound goal. I know you've heard it hundreds of times, but you have to drink water! Even if you hate it, choke it down (I gag.. trust me.. I hate water lol).…
