Which powder are you using? Using MyProtein, even with a shaker (and I usually use the nutribullet) I don't get the grainy problem. I've started using their unflavoured and then blending in some strawberries or raspberries for flavour.

Yes, but if you can, make it from scratch at home. Had a supermarket fresh soup last friday as my homemade stuff had run out and it had 2/3rds the sugar of a can of coca cola.

I would say go back to the gym or whichever exercise you were doing as soon as you can. Most bad patches I go through ALWAYS end once i've dragged my *kitten* back to the gym. I get that Serotonin kick that lifts me out of my bad patch and motivates me to go again the next day and eat well that day.

I'd agree with the OP's post. Now there are days I do come in aroun 1300 (which for my size is pretty low), but that's only due to work being very busy and not being hungry. But My MFP target is around 1800-1900 calories and I normally stick to that. Otherwise I just ruins things like energy levels and blood sugar.
