  • Yes, yes! Tried to do the 30DS again for the month of May, but was bored after only two days. So tonight I bought the RI30, and enjoy the greater variation in the strength exercises. I walk my daughter to school on weekdays, so get a little light cardio there. I can't decide yet if I will do some running on the weekends…
  • I did a full 30 of the 30 day shred a few months ago. After about 4-5 days the pain subsides, even when you go to the harder workouts. I was gonna try it again, but two days in and I was way bored with he routine. Tonight I bought ripped in 30 to try something different. I like it way better, more variation in the strength…
  • Hummus? Or fat free sour cream for ranch dip.
  • Done! Done! Done! I don't have a tape to measure, but I know my pants are fitting much better. I wasn't eating great, but still lost 2-3 lbs. I like seeing triceps!
  • It depends on which stuff you do.... The strength training stuff will do just that, and the yoga can help build up your core. A lot of the balance games will also build up your core, but you are playing so it doesn't really feel like a workout. The only real cardio workouts are the running, step and hula hoop. Try doing…
  • What a week to get a cold! If I wasn't only four days from the end I bet I would just quit. Level 3 on a lowered lung capacity absolutely stinks! And I know I'm not getting as effective of a workout, bummer!
  • Hahahaha... I tried to go in the bounce house with the kids when I was 3 or 4 months postpartum. Bad idea! Two years down the road I can sneeze most of the time without any problem and I haven't come across any problems doing this workout. Hopefully time will repair things for you too. Sorry to laugh, I just know so well…
  • Hey ladies! It might be water weight! All these muscles are working so hard and repairing themselves and retaining water... So when you give yourself a rest at the end and flush with lots of water, you may like what you see on the scale. I haven't been eating that well all 30 days, so I know that is why the scale is not…
  • I like the idea of keeping this up, but my knees need a rest. I'm gonna keep walking my little one to school and back, and I hope to keep a routine up by doing yoga in the mornings. Won't be burning as many calories but will still be working my core and getting strength workout. Depending on how quickly my knees recover I…
  • So glad to see a light at the end of the tunnel... Only 9 more days! Definitely needed to do some modified versions today, it hope to work up to the full versions just as in the previous 2 levels.
  • Dip them in hummus, or even some hidden valley ranch dip. Thin sliced cucumber or zucchini, or some colorful bell peppers!
  • If you have a smartphone or iPad, there are a few apps out there you could try. I really enjoy YOGA by maker viaden mobile... It's pink. You can pick from a variety of workouts and I think e paid version I got was maybe a few bucks, by they offer a freebie version for you to try.
  • It feels wonderful to be on he downhill slope! I know if the few of us that are still going keep supporting eachother we will make it to the end!
  • Just finished my 16th workout.... On the downhill slope! Level 2 stays challenging for much longer than the first and I don't know if plank jacks are ever going to be in the cards for me!
  • Should I assume you are struggling because it's a rhythm kind of movement? Maybe try doing it away from the video. Real slow like, just to get the pattern down. Think forward and down, then middle, then back and down. Do legs first, then when you have it down pat, add the arm curls.
  • My observations post day 3: My only sore spot are my glutes, and not nearly as sore as my legs were from begining of level 1 definitely had to do the "Anita" version of some stuff, still 3 days in Plank jacks are the worst cardio ever! I had to go down in hand weights, with level one the same weights were pretty easy all…
  • Happy birthday and thanks for sharing!
  • Something to the effect of "can you feel it Body.". Who is this "body" and why is she wanting it to talk?
  • Ooooooh, gel nails are awesome! Ive only done it once, but stretched it out 3 weeks, no chips or breaks. If I had the budget for it I would do them every two weeks for sure. As for my indulgence, I already bought myself a new blow dryer, expensive shampoo, and brush earlier this wek....My hair has looked ick lately, so I…
  • Good for you! Congrats! It all adds up to a better you.
  • I've lost about 1.5 lbs.... I really need to buy a tape measure, so I can quantify my changes that way. I know I have lost inches just by the comfort of clothes. As a side note, level 2 confirms how I do not have good core and upper body strength. I had to do all the modified versions of all the plank activities. Plank…
  • I've actually tried the cucumbers and it is good. Best to let it set up for a little bit to get the flavor. You can also do sliced strawberries or other kinds of fruit.
  • Thank you for sharing.... These kinds of photos really do inspire! You look 15 years younger, and had probably given yourself 15 years more of a great life!
  • I've now done 10 days... The change I have really been seeing is in my abs. No six pack yet, not even close, but I see some definition running north and south below the rib section. I don't think I've seen that in a dozen years!
  • Yep, day 10 complete! I'm glad cuz I'm getting bored with all of Jillian's talking points during the workout. I did learn a lesson today, however. I did it a few hours after lunch and felt very sluggish during the cardio. I still did all of it, but maybe with not as much verv as I would hope. I was, however, able to…
  • I don't have really bad knees, but when I get into running sometimes they can be sore. I think I find it worse during the winter, tighter joints I guess. I usually work through it and they get stronger. Which likely is not the best thing for you. But the reason i am responding is that I am 7 days in to the thirty day shred…
  • Maybe a half inch shorter.... And I've already lost a few. I still probably should lose another 15. I'll add you...
  • I finished day 3, level 1 today. I've been walking around pretty sore in the legs since I started. I think I need heavier weights to really work my arms more. I hope to get the whole 30 days in!
  • Yes, I love yoga.... I found a really good iPad app that I enjoy!
