Fantastic - you are looking great.

When I started with MFP I was of the opinion that the less I ate the more I would loose. However I quickly realised that lose was not everything. I wanted to be healthy and toned. When it came to maintenance I was scared to increase so much, so I slowly increased it each week. Now I eat every excercise calorie back and…

Brisk walking or running may be an option for you.
-
 You could try walking or running. I feel this has helped for me. Good luck.

Wow - great job - you look FANTASTIC!! When I seen your starting picture my first thought was that you didn't need to loose weight and was kinda execting to see an amaciated figure - however I didn't. You look so healthy and fit!! And you definately suit being smaller. Well done x

I am 5"6 almost 49 yrs and 141 lbs - I wear a uk size 12 (sometimes a 10). I feel ok at this weight - but if I put on a few pounds I wouldn't stress. Btw to the person who posted above me. You look totally awsome and no where near your age. Well done

Thanks - I will do. Was going to introduce excercises on a gym ball. Do you think that will help too?

Ortisan fruit and fibre cubes are great - (Amazon sells them) or try 15mg flaxseed - you will also need to drink a lot of water. Good luck x

Have a banana, it has potassium in it which is meant to be good for a hangover. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi, can I share my experience with you please? In my experience our minds can play serious games with us, Last year my 13 daughter was very stressed and convinced her hair was fallling out, Before I knew it, I was checking her pillow, and being concious of how often "She was pulling stray " - which was ALL THE TIME. So in…

If that is your profile pic and you feel you need to lose weight, I would urge you to discuss this with your doctor. Wishing you all the luck in the future xx

Well done for running for 20 sceonds. I have only been doing it for a couple of weeks and I started at 30 seconds (and that was a major struggle) now each time I go out I do a bit more. My husband started off the same and now he is signed up for a 10k. As you will see from all of the other posts - everyone has had their…

Well done, keep up the good work x

It's low on cals but I found it to be far too high in sodium!!
-
Thanks for that. I am going to trust MFP and go on the maintenance cals and see how I go. :)
-
Congratulations - you look fantastic - soo fit and toned. Let us know how you get on with maintenance. I hit my target too and I am increasing my cals by 150 a week rather than take a bigger leap.
-
Thank you!! It took me about 3 months. I started at the very beginning of November. Good luck - I am sure you will make it. x

I've had this too. I am 5'6 and started at 166lbs, I am now 141lbs and happy. When I get criticised and told I didn't need to lose weight, i say, I was overweight, blood pressure and cholesteral were too high. Now I am in a good weight range, fit in to a uk 12, blood pressure and cholesterol are now normal, and I am soo…

Congratulations you look totally AMAZING!! Well done on your hard work xx

lol - (pressed the return key) mean to say never have I had such trim legs - everyone keeps commenting on how slim they are. So whilst I would love to run - walking is so successful for me right now. (must say tho - I don't toddle, I walk really fast - looks a bit daft I suppose - but its working)
-
I walk everyday and love it. I can do it at lunch time or any time I have a chance. For me I am not fit enough to start running. But I feel with walking cos I can fit it in anytime I can do more. For example I do not get all sweaty and need a shower so it fits well in to my day. I can honestly say it has toned up my…

Most restaurants have online menus. So why don't you have a look at it before you go. That way you can check out the calories on MFP and put them in advance. Then you can tailor the rest of your day around it. Hope this helps.

I have reached my goal and now want to keep logging on MFP to maintain. However I am a bit scared to jump up to the suggested maintenance calories right away so last week I added 100 cals per day (and ate excercise cals back). But I still lost weight. So this week I have upped another 50 cals per day. To be honest I feel…
