Calories used running for 143lb female??
Hi, I have recently started running. Usually I walk and my pedometer estimates cals burned. Today I did 55 mins and pedometer told me I used 174 cals. But I actually ran 26 minutes of it. so basically can any 143lb females give me an estimate of how many cals I would have earned from running 26 mins?

I have read that MFP's not so accurate at estimating calories burned through excercise. So I am considering buying a pedometer as I walk a lot. Does anyone know how to record the calories used manually? Thanks.

Question about sugar?
Can any one tell me if all sugars are the same.? Today's sugars came from All bran breakfast cereal and an apple. I would guess that the apple has "natural sugars" and the All Bran may have added sugars. Any thoughts - and also - is there an recommended daily allowance of sugar? Thanks

Plateau
