Thanks, everybody! I did day 1 today after Zumba and I feel great. Hopefully I won't be hurting too badly tomorrow. I have an intervals class tomorrow (which will be more than enough exercise for the day) but I'm gonna pick it back up on Friday. You guys rock! :)

If you're working out, don't worry about eating more protein than is suggested. That's a mimumum amount. And veggies are a great low cal way to bulk up your meal. . .go crazy on them, i promise you'll feel fuller for longer. Good luck!!

Wow, that's tough. I'm sure you're very limited in what you can do right now but if you're going to PT, ask them if it's ok if you stay after to use the UBE (its the arm bike and it's a good way to get some cardio if you're non weight bearing). If everything you say is true (as far as staying at your required calorie level and exercising regularly), something may be wrong. I would see your doctor immediately. Yes, building muscle can add a little weight but 10 lbs in 2 weeks is alot of weight very quickly. I suggest making an appt for your Dr. ASAP. Good luck!

All of this is so helpful, I'm feeling a little better. I am in control of the decisions that I make. I will be prepared by planning my meals in advance and entering them into mfp beforehand (that works the best for me). Hooray for you for coming back! This is my first time using MFP, but I've used other programs and have always had the same problem (the longest I've stuck to anything previously was 2 months). This time feels different for me and I hope it is for you as well. Good luck!
