Hi, Well in my experience the Pill hasn't affected my weight loss journey so far. I've been on Femodene for a number of years, which is a low dose pill anyway, and I'm lucky in that I haven't suffered any negative side-effects. When I was first put on BC my nurse did point that the Pill can indirectly cause you to put on…

Congrats!! Well done you:)

I completely agree with where you're coming from!

I agree with the fellow poster above, "Curvy is a shape, so if you're curvy now, you will be at your goal too". I'm 5'7.5, love my BBTs (though I would happily welcome a reduction on the thighs...) and also aiming for 160. Whether I decide to maintain or aim to drop more pounds, is based upon how I'll look at goal…

Hey people, I'm also a fellow South Londoner (currently working in Central). I'm loving MFP and the encouragement/support that comes with it! - please feel free to add me ;)

Ha didn't see this before posting, but exactly what she said!

I use bio-oil (btw it's much cheaper from Amazon than Boots or Superdrug), and it's made a definite difference! Although they haven't disappeared completely, they've faded them considerably.

hmmmmmmmm i'm so intrigued, i'm definitely gonna try this! thanks :)

I changed mine to 35% Carb, 30% Fat and 35% Protein for similar reasons. I try to have most of my carbs at breakfast and lunch, then and have meat or fish for dinner with loads of veg.

There's a pure gym opening up in Greenwich (which is kiiiiinda near me), I'm kinda tempted by the offer...

hi, I cook the majority of my meals from scratch. Sometimes convenience wins, and I find myself buying a Shapers lunch from Boots but I prefer being able to control what's goes in my food (especially salt). Sounds like i might have to check this hairy dieters cookbook!!

couldn't have said it better!

lol

I also vote for Bravissimo - their bras/swimwear offer great support, especially for the big boobed!!

You're definitely not alone, I'm with you! I have a goal in mind but I don't torture or restrict myself in any way (you can definitely see that in my diary this weekend...!!). Generally I'm eating heathier, making smarter choices, and I've educated myself over the last couple of weeks to know that one "day-off" isn't going…

I wear mine in a bun with a sweat band

Alongside the main three (fat, protein and carbs), I also track sodium (have a history of high blood pressure in my family) and fiber. I think I might swap fiber for sugar though as I don't really have much trouble reaching that goal.

I take Cod Liver oil with multi-vitamins capsules from Holland & Barrett's daily.

Hi, I'm from South London and very addicted to MFP. Feel free to add me anyone :)
-
Awesome!! You should be so proud of yourself - inspirational all round :)

Hi, I'm just under 5'8 (5'7.5 to be exact  ) and I'm aiming for about 160lbs (around 11st). I'm currently 182/13st so I'm hoping to drop at least 2 stone

I'd get it re-sized. It'd be worse if you were to lose the ring entirely...
-
Hmmmm i'm intrigued to try. Does it work with oat bran?

Born and bred londoner here! I live in South London I work in Central London, so no. Tourists are bad enough of a "good" day but once the Olympics kick in...lawd! Getting in/around work will be a nightmare. I'm not really thinking about it from a terrorism point of view...if I thought like that, I'd never go anywhere.

I was in the States for six weeks in spring. Let's just say I ate... ate very well. Came back to the UK and was determined to drop what I gained so I re-joined MFP. But then I started thinking 'why stop there?!'

I'm loving this site (i'm on it more than facebook and twitter combined...) and looking to build a network of motivated people so pls feel free to add me! I joined a while ago but didn't really use the groups/forum but now I'm determined to make this happen. And yes I will nose through your diaries for food ideas ;)

I'm 25 in a matter of weeks (where has the time gone?!) ...feel free to add me :)

I'm 5'7 and a half, currently 13st. I'd like to drop down at least 20lbs and then reassess my goals. Congrats ladies - definitely motivating! I'm determined to have my own success story!

You look great! I'm just under 5"8 and would love to achieve those numbers! Well done
