I agree with what everyone else is saying... also they work out for HOURS a day. Like 6+ hours so they are burning tons and tons of calories and probably not eating back any of those burned calories. Whether that is safe or not, I'm not sure. But I don't see how a normal person who works and has other responsibilities has…

If you can afford it.. Look at beachbody.com and check out their DVDs! They have all types from beginners to advanced, and I've loved every kind I've tried! I'm addicted to at home workout programs now :)

My brother in law asked me today if I have still been losing weight because he could tell! It's always nice when other people notice your body changes :)

Love TurboFire!!! I did the full program but stopped at 18 weeks instead of 20. I know I only had two weeks to go by after 18 weeks I was ready to move on to something else. I lost about 10lbs and 11 inches during the time. It is a lot of fun, the moves are great and the music is awesome. I didn't dread working out like I…

Awesome! We can do it!

I LOVE it! It's so much fun and I never dread working out which is what I usually have trouble with. I burn 400+ calories with most of the cardio workouts. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Insanity is pretty intense.. So deciding would depend on your fitness level as of now. I got through maybe 3/4 of insanity last year but I feel like I halfway did each workout because I could barely do all of the moves since I was basically a beginner. I dreaded working out everyday even though I felt better after I did…

I'm right at 5ft. Thanks for your advice!

I a lot of it will have to do with trial and error. Once you get to your goal you can see how you're eating habits affect you weight and then modify them according to that. But congrats on being almost there!

I have a hard time on weekends too, but I would say instead of not counting calories at all on weekends, I would still try to be very cautious of what you're eating but maybe just have one or two cheat meals a weekend. That way you're still being able to relax a little and eat what you want but not doing that for every…

I'm 5ft on a good day.. my goal has always been 120 for whatever reason, but I really think it'll depend on how I feel. I work out and plan to get fit and not just skinny so if I have some muscle and feel good about myself but weigh more than 120 I'll be okay with that.. Or if I get to 120 and still aren't satisfied then I…

I am! Started week 3 on Monday. I love it!

If you're in really good shape already, I would say Insanity. But coming from someone who tried insanity as their first fitness program and not being in the best of shape, I never got through it. I always ended up giving up because I never looked forward to it and dreaded it because it was tough. But now I'm doing…

Well congratulations on getting back into it and losing almost 5 pounds your first week! I think that's the results I was hoping for.. But I guess everyone's different. Hopefully we can both stick with it for the full 90 days! Add me if you ever need some encouragement :)

There really is a million posts about this topic... and everyone has their own opinion. You're supposed to eat a certain "net" amount of calories which is food-exercise. Everyone is different, but if you don't eat enough net calories you can go into starvation mode and not lose any way that way either. Basically you just…

Lol! Yes I did get the over all point :) no problem.

That really is a good idea! It would help for the motivation, thank you!

I did weight watchers online earlier this year before I found my fitness pal. It is great and you can definitely lose weight with it but honestly it's so much like this site and this site is free! I stopped weight watchers because I couldn't afford it anymore and this site has completely taken its place.

I just started today too! It is tough but don't give up... only 20 minute workouts you can definitely do it! Just stick with level one until you're ready to move up. Good luck! :)

I've heard great things about 30 day shred! I'm hoping to start it soon. If you have the money.. Insanity is a great workout DVD program!

Thanks!!

Insanity!

I feel the same way! I wonder if I'll ever get to my goal weight... and I feel like I've been dieting my whole life too. But when I think about it, I always ended up giving up and never stuck with trying to be healthy long enough to actually see any results! Just stick with it!! And good luck :)

I had a colonoscopy last year... I'm not sure what all it cleans out. I know it goes through your whole digestive system so I assume it gets out all it can? But that's just a guess. And also about the weight loss I figure it's probably like if you have a stomach virus and can't keep anything down... Your prep day you have…

Since I've started MFP I've been eating around 1500-1700 calories with my workouts, and that's probably why it seems hard to go down to 1200. I'm just not sure what to do about this pulled muscle.. maybe I can train myself to go with 1200 for a week or so and then get back to working out. You all's tips seem helpful though!

You look amazing!

I don't have WII Zumba, but I have had DDR for playstation and it's great! It really does make you work up a sweat and it records the calories burned with a workout mode. It's a lot of fun. I love Zumba though too so I think that'd be great too... I actually want both Wii Zumba & DDR too!

Welcome! I just started my fitness pal in the middle of last week. I also did weight watchers at the beginning of the year and it took me about 3 months to lose 10 pounds, however I wasn't exercising as much then as I am now. So far I have lost 5.7 pounds with my fitness pal since I started last week! And I agree the tools…

Congrats! I'm actually hoping mine will go down some, I wear a D and would love to be a nice C.
