I still see myself as the size I was when I first started and still refer to myself as the "fat" friend. Not sure when/if that ever goes away. But everything else is so worth it and I'd never change a thing!

Love these and "I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it" is one of my favorites!

If I were to graph the past 2 1/2 years of my journey, it would look like this! I have had many binges and set backs, but the big picture is a great loss. I still struggle A LOT with food, and I have gained and lost the same 5 lbs for about 4 months now. It is so frustrating! This journey is not easy, but if we all just…

Great topic! This has been on my mind a lot lately. For me, when I was at my heaviest (352 lbs), I didn't think I was that overweight. I feel like I wasn't critical of myself when I looked in the mirror. I didn't find my flaws and I thought I was happy with myself. After having my second daughter, I had a wakeup call and…

Thank you! I've been at it for 2 1/2 years and it is now just my lifestyle. It is going to take time. There will be times when the scale doesn't move and you will want to give up. DON'T! It is worth it. You have done great so far, just keep going. The time will pass anyways, might as well be spent making a healthier you!

Great loss so far! Keep it up! I started out walking and on the elliptical. I did just cardio (increasing intensity) for quite some time and then added heavy lifting to my routine.

Awesome progress! I love seeing all of the pictures. Great job everyone!

Thank you!

Don't give up!

First picture was 10 days after baby #2. Second picture was 20 months later. Still a work in progress......working on the "hot" part.

10 days before I started my journey (November 11, 2011) - August 2013 April 2011-December 2013 My most favorite picture of my transformation! April 2010-October 2013. He has been my rock through this process. Proof that diet is key. He has always worked out, but nutrition was never our strong suit.

I got pregnant when I was already pushing 300 pounds. I gained 55 lbs with my pregnancy and was having a hard time moving towards the end. I spent 13 hours in recovery after my c-section. I didn't see my daughter for the first 6 hours. My blood pressure was dangerously high. When I finally got out of recovery, I couldn't…

I used a body media fit when I lost the majority of my weight. I loved it!! Great tool!

I have lost 160+ lbs in 2 years. I weight train, drink almost a gallon of water a day and eat approx 190 grams of protein per day. I have a lot of excess skin. I spent the last 8 years at over 300 lbs, 352 was my highest and have been big my entire life. I believe that you either have it or you don't. Not much you can do…

Why (then) - I hit rock bottom, weighing 352 lbs, diabetic, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and realizing that I was having a hard time fitting into a hospital bed with both my 4 year old and newborn. I knew immediately that something had to change. 2 1/2 weeks after giving birth, I joined the gym and haven't looked…

I do 30 seconds as fast as I can, then 30 seconds at a slower pace. I don't stop moving and I do it for 10 minutes.

Way to go! Such a great feeling. I cried the day I closed my LB account. I used to buy EVERYTHING there, it was my comfort zone and I knew it would fit me. Leaving the unknown has been simply amazing! Keep up your hard work and good luck on your 10K!

I lost the majority of my weight through calories in vs. calories out. I would eat all carbs for my calories if I really wanted. Now that I am trying to build muscle and lose more body fat, I am concentrating on high protein, lower carbs and lower fats.

Exactly! If you are eating right and exercising, you are going to have more energy and not be as hungry. There is no magic pill.
