I found that if I ever went under 1200 NET calories per day, my weight loss would stall. If i kept it between 1200-1400, I would lose 2.5 lbs per week. You have to use your NET calorie value, though. I get that comment quite frequently. Curiously enough, it never comes from people who are in shape. It is almost exclusively from people who are happy to be overweight. I think people just don't like being left behind.

It's not about "eating back" calories. It's a simple equation of calories earned by activity vs calories spent by eating. You should try to set your mfp target to no more than 2 pounds/week and then make sure you hit your calorie goal as closely as possible. I went to Chili's without checking the calories in the food first. Boy was I in for an unpleasant surprise when I got home and started logging my calories. Chili's food is the worst for calories

I think people do that because they feel guilty about not doing it themselves when deep down they probably know they should be doing a better job. Plus they want to remain in blissful ignorance about how many calories they are eating.

I just slide the sensor up underneath between the laces and the tongue. I don't even notice it while running. I've logged 120 miles with this setup and the sensor has never given me any trouble.
