If you don't give yourself what you want, you won't stick with the diet. Give yourself that treat and view it as such. Log it, and just compensate the rest of the week for it. If you need a bad day, have a bad day... you don't have to be perfect every day!

I've had the same issues many times and have often wondered the same thing. I'm sure the right answer is eat some fruits or veggies, but I would say go for the ice cream. If you want it, don't deprive yourself. When I deprive myself of what I want, that's when I quit eating right and exercising all together.

I eat a piece of toast (Sara Lee 45 calories) with a 1/2 T of creamy peanut butter and an apple. It keeps me full for a while. Yogurt is also a great pick if you need something that's grab and go.

I agree with everyone else, but also make sure you eat at least 1200 calories... in fact, i must eat at least 1400 every day in order to lose weight

are you eating at least 1200 calories a day? are you weighing/measuring your food? i have noticed that if i eat around 1400 that i lose weight faster than i would closer to 1200. not sure why that is either and would love to hear others thoughts on it too.

I have done WW once and was debating rejoining about a month ago. I'm really glad I didn't! This site is better than WW and it's free. I just bought a HRM from walmart for 45. It will calculate heart rate (of course), calories burned, fat burned, and it can also be programmed to where it will beep at you if you go below or above a desired heart rate.
