Avid runner here: I agree, you need to get outside and experience with different terrain. Honestly, as far as mileage goes, you are there. I am mostly a 10k/half marathoner and more recently a marathoner, and in all training plans you never actually run your race distance. To put it in perspective, for my half marathon…

Don't diet, just eat healthy, or you will never stick with it for life. Also, buy most of your groceries on the perimeter of the grocery store, all the most processed items are in the middle!

I like to make a fiesta baked potato. mix a little black beans and corn in a pan and season with cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper. put that on your potato. Also top with salsa, avocado, and cilantro. So good, and filling. I also have a storage suggestion. I can only use half at a time usually, so I smear some olive oil…

Just from personal experience, I found it hard to have rest days when it was nice out so I would go many weeks without a day of rest. I now suffer from bursitis/ IT band tendonitis and I cannot do anything with impact :( My doctor and Chiropractor agree is is from OVER TRAINING :( Just a tid bit for you since you are…

not even close to being too much. Like other people said, you are eating healthy things too. 800cal a day is barely enough for your body to function in a HEALTHY way. Be careful not to develop athletic anorexia tendencies.

I recently went to the doctor for not having a period in over three months. I took two at home pregnancy tests and one at the doctors office and they were all negative. I still get irritable, bloated, hungry....the usual PMS symptoms, but NO bleeding whatsoever. I am a runner also, and I have been doing P90X religiously as…

I've been running for a year now, and when I started I couldn't even make it a lap around the track and now I'm prepping for a half marathon. Running has made me more mentally tough than my 10 years of gymnastics ever could. I didnt lose much weight, but my body looked more fit and toned...less "meatball-ish" Also, the…

I'm normally a very active person that trys a lot of different dvds, activities etc...and I'm on day 9 of P90X and I can already feel changes when I touch my legs and see changes in my upper abdomen. I know that sounds crazy, hope this helps you in your decision!

I exercise approx. 60-80 minutes a day and still eat back most of my calories. I find it your eating balanced, its NOT hard to meet your cals. Ex: natural peanut butter, qunioa, wild rice etc...LOTS of cals. BUT HEALTHY. I'm finding a lot of posts on MFP with tiny girls posting about not being able to eat more than 800…

I do something similar to the baked apples except I use pear halves. I put some apple cider or apple juice in a baking dish, place the pears face down, then add a drop of vanilla. Sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon, and a few chopped pecans. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes and baste with juices every 10 minutes. It tastes like…

If its a repetitive routine with bursts of cardio, I log it in as circuit training

Splenda is as artificial as it gets. Agave is good in small amounts, but for baking its about twice as sweet as honey, so you can do the math. Truvia is not artificial, it comes from the stevia plant.

First, great job! Second, they probably were a tiny bit jealous and felt bad about themselves if you announced you lost 9lb and they are standing there stuffing chocolates :)
-
when you feel ready, you need to add in some dumbell work, abs etc...you will burn far more calories rather than just doing cadio alone. Look into circuit training

I think the saints with win, but I'm from the ohio-michigan border, so I'm hoping the lions win :)

When I complete my half marathon this year I'm getting a tattoo on my wrist that says 13.1. For minor goals, I buy myself cute or expensive workout clothes I normally wouldn't

Hi! As a heavily tattooed individual, I will offer you my advice. Getting one on your hip with stretch out with weight loss, gain, having children etc...I've seen some pretty bad results from all of those scenarios. I didnt read through all of the replies, but have your boyfriend write it out on a piece of paper and stress…
