I didn't get a binder but Idid get the breathing thing. It helped and I don't have any abdominal pains. I was able to get up and down easily because I have a ergomatic bed.

I loved reading the stories about your cpap and masks. LOL Now that I think of it, my husband calls me Darth Vadar. LOL I look forward to a post op test to be rid of mine one day.

I have this problem too. i have gotten more hiccups in the past month than ever. They usually go away fast.

Unjury is good with any liquid. Be sure that hot liquids are not over 140 F. I also like the Gladiator shakes from Smoothie King. They are wonderful and you can chose two fruit to mix in them. (Yes these were recommended by my doctor!)

Great job ladies. I have been banded 3 weeks and due for first fill.

I would love to try the noodles, but most of these recipes call for shrimp. I am allergic to shrimp. Could you substitute other meats or will the fishy smell overwhelm the other protein?

I have only been banded a month, but I am not having any trouble with my CPAP machine so far. I try to stay hydrated during the day and at night I sleep fine.

That is what I am doing. I dont want to test it either.

I have quite a bit of pounds to go, but I also would like to have that friend support as much as possible. I was banded on 10/25/12 and would love advice and comments from those veterans. Thanks.

I love my mother in…

My pre-op only called for two meal replacement shakes and solids for dinner. Lean meat, 1 cup green veggie, 1 cup of fruit. No bananas no bread, no pasta, no rice. I worked well. I lost 21 lbs. but I only had to do two weeks pre op.

I thought bean and hummus was okay? I am not at that level yet. Only two weeks out, but I would love to know what healthy Chinese foods we could eat. I was on a web site that was hosted by two ladies who have been banded for 10 years and they loved Sushi! I would love to eat Sushi it was one of my favorites pre-surgery.

I started a little early so I lost a total of 21 lbs by surgery.

I researched all methods very carefully and for the past ten years I have been considering it. I found that I wanted to do the lap band and I know I can be successful if I…
