Um, yes. Why wouldn't it be? It's hard work and if you have a long driveway like mine, it's going to take you at least 40 minutes of sustained effort!

Confession: I'm constantly looking for the mirrors in the gym, not to check my form, but to make sure I don't like fat in my workout clothes.

Yup, me too. 28 and I love food and drink. I'm trying to cut down alcohol and eating out. So far in January, I've had no drinks on week nights and I haven't eaten out since January 4 (this is huge for me!) Add me and we can motivate each other!

I'm 28, about 20 pounds under my highest weight (2009) and have about 20 more to lose. Anyone is welcome to add me.

Trust that you are making real, important changes in your body. Every good choice you make has an impact on your health. Unfortunately, the scale doesn't always reflect those changes right away. I am struggling with the same thing. I have to remind myself that it took more than a few days to put that weight on, so it will…

I worked out at the gym 5 times this week, and even tried a new yoga class.

Having friends and accountability helps. I am motivated by the little cues on MFP--when I log a day under my calories, when I work out, when I lose weight. It's silly but it is motivating.

Hey there. Sounds fun! Feel free to add me and I will help motivate you! I could use additional motivation as well.

I find that hard workouts give me motivation to avoid binging, because I think "why would I spoil all the hard work I just did??" Plan snacks ahead of time so you know exactly what you will eat. You can "binge" on healthy foods, like veggies with hummus, without doing too much damage. Follow this rule: No eating in front…

Feel free to add me! Let's do it!

Add me if you like. Welcome!

Good luck on your journey! Feel free to add me if you like.

Sure thing! 28 in the process of losing 20-25.

I found it helpful to have one session with a personal trainer to get a routine established. It helped that I won the session for free...

Been there. Trying to get back in shape too. Add me if you like!

Mine is open

Hey! In 28 and net around 1900. I wouldn't survive at 1200 or less. Feel free to add me.

An hour long yoga class, 8 minutes on the rowing machine, 30 minutes of walking.

Good for you! It can be tough to stop cold turkey. I don't drink that much, but I've been known to drink 20 oz a few times a week, and I'm trying to quit, too. Sometimes, if I get bored of water, a get a carbonated water, like LaCroix. It's a little bit more interesting than just plain water.

This is your HUSBAND, not just some guy who's physically attracted to you. There is so much more than your body that he loves and finds sexy. Yes, get down and dirty. And be open and honest about it. Tell him you don't feel your sexiest, but that you're working to get there, and show him you still find him sexy and…

We go through phases. Sometimes we'll cook something very frequently for a year or two, then forget about it for awhile. Our tried and true standbys are: -chicken or turkey tacos -turkey or beef chili -butternut squash soup -mushroom risotto -baked chicken thighs with roasted broccoli or brussels sprouts -chicken…

Did W4D2 this morning before work. I can't believe W5 is so soon...a little intimidated...

I think it depends on what works for YOU. I used to be an evening runner all the way. Lately, my schedule only allows for morning. The first few mornings were rough, but now I'm getting used to it, and I like it. You have to figure out what will work best for your schedule, your sleep, your energy level, etc.

Good questions. I tend to just let it go, don't log it, and know that tomorrow will be better. But it depends. Sometimes I will try to log it and just live with it. I wouldn't call my eating behavior "binging". Occasionally I eat too much for one reason or another (stress, social setting, hunger, temptation, etc.). I try…

Completed week 3 yesterday, and I started week 4 tomorrow! Got some new running shoes and the increased support will be great (broke them in with a long walk last night and another one this morning). Happy running, all!

I'm on W3D3. I completed the program in 2011, but life happened and working out stopped, so I'm back at it, for good! Any C25Kers, feel free to add me!

I know most people are saying it's your responsibility to avoid it, and you should be able to have food in your house that you just don't eat, but I would find that really hard. Maybe I have a lack of will power. Some things I'd be fine leaving. But others would be tough. Even if I COULD do it, I wouldn't want those things…

Sure! I try to update my blog once a month with monthly goals and reflection. I'd be happy to follow you.
