Don't know if this will help, but before I go to dinner parties, I eat my low carb dinner right before I go. That way, I'm not at all hungry. I got mine from Canyon Hoops, and even if you make your own or get one from another source, they still have good information on their website about selecting the weight and size hoop for what you want to do with it. :)

I do! Mine is not quite that heavy, but I like to hoop for about 20 minutes several times a week. A couple of my local friends and I are going to start a Hoopin' 30/30 challenge where we are planning to hoop for 30 minutes for the next 30 days to improve our skills.
