Hi everyone, I hope you are doing better and pregnant :-) I have had 4 miscarriages, and I am now doing my first ivf cycle. I am trying to keep positive and taking care of how I eat and avoiding stress... but that's not easy. After each miscarriage, I went through a very depressive period, feeling sorry foy myself, and…

I think a quick omelette with mushrooms is a good option. You can even bake it. I like to make it like: 1 egg, 1 egg white, 4 fresh mushrooms, 1 cherry tomato, herbs, a slice of mozzarella de buffalo, a splash of milk.

I have not tried it, but I am researching into it to see if it is something for me. But I have started drinking healthy fruit/veggies juices with flaxseed, and they have helped me maintain my diet a lot. I can share some recipes with you if you are interested. Here is a video on fasting diet, thought it was interesting...…

I have been taking detox juices on a daily basis for a while. I think it is great, and I have noticed a big improvement on my skin and digestive system. I have not followed Kimberly's diet, I read a book written by a chemist, who explains what vegetables and fruits, as well as what nuts to use. I will write here some of…

"the time and intensity of exercise will dictate the level of cortisol release. If you exercise for more than 60 minutes, even at a low intensity, the body's glycogen stores (fuel) will decrease significantly and the increased stress will cause more cortisol release. The more training you do, the better your body will…

I still think seeing what other people who have the same goals as me and who have similar weight have done and liked the results from working with a personal trainer. I have noticed that the exercise plans I have seen try to do several different exercises during the week, versus people who exercise on their own tend to do…

I agree. They are very good, and you can use light weights at the beginning and slowly add heavier weights as you get used to them. After a while I found it annoying with all their talking, and bought a couple more. I love Billy Blanks exercise videos as well.

I keep making variations of the soup above (without meat, steak instead of chicken, barbecued chicken, etc). It really makes me feel full with just one bowl.

Many people don't add beans to their diets because when you look straight at the calorie content, it is not low. What many don't realize is that beans is a great source of protein + fiber, which means it is a food that will keep you feeling full longer. And if it means after eating a meal with beans, it keeps you away from…

What if you insist on the symptons that you are having, and ask if he can recommend you to a specialist? How often are you taking the tests? I found online a list of foods that improve and foods that worsen the problem: http://alicas.wrytestuff.com/swa95859.htm

Your story is very similar to mine... 4 years ago I was tested in Denmark (where I live) and the doctor said it was under control... I got blood tests every 3 months and the same results every time. The problem though, is that all the symptons of hypothyroidism started happening to me... one by one. 4 years later I was on…

I have gone to the gym on and off for years, but could not keep it up. I live far from it, and it was always easier to find something else to do. Since September I have been exercising on an elliptical (cross trainer) machine from home, and it has worked really well for me. I do it while I watch some TV show or music…
