In addition to the suggestions made already re: doing a dynamic warm-up and also a cool-down, you may want to consider getting a foam roller. I have a TriggerPoint, but there are lots of other kinds out there, easy to google. Regular foam rolling will do wonders.

Given you're a light runner, may want to consider Saucony Kinvara. I also like New Balance 890s, my go to marathon training shoe(I'm neutral mid-foot striker).

Half Marathon PR of 1:46:36 (next goal sub 1:45) and full marathon PR of 3:50:52 (next goal 3:40 and a Boston Qualifier).

8 miles yesterday. Also realized that I apparently can't do simple math, so my previous MTD totals were off. After yesterday's run, I should be at 70 MTD.

26.2 miles today, so 41.2 month to date. Ran the Vancouver Marathon this morning, what a great day for a race. Time was 3:50:52, which is a 27 min PR, so very pleased with the race.

I'm in this month, but fewer miles due to the fact that I'll be recovering from a marathon on May 6th. Put me down for 110 this month.
