  • Thanks for the tips :). I was able to work through my workout yesterday and today I woke up and my muscles hurt significantly less. I just had to push through those first 3 workouts I guess! Trying to get myself ready for today's workout. It's the cardio recovery and looks pretty brutal on the quads. I skimmed through it…
  • How did everyone's first day go? :)
  • I started on Saturday, so I'm right there with ya! Good luck!
  • I've been fighting my weight my whole life. When I was about 14 I was able to lose like 50 lbs and get down to 120 lbs. I think I was16 when I started working at subway as a part-time job. For the first 6 months or so I ate veggie salads with oil and vinegar, the veggie delight with no cheese and low fat dressing, or the…
  • I have been working on my pushups for the last week. I have a terrible time with them but already I'm seeing improvement. I just started insanity yesterday. Have done the fit test and the first workout. I just did what I could. 1 or 2 actual pushups. Sometimes I switched to modified pushups. It def still seemed to work. I…

  • Thanks for the tips! That all makes sense. I always have protein right after my workouts, so I'm glad to hear that this is the right thing to do. I've been trying not to take advil but maybe I will try that tomorrow just to see if it helps. I know that chronic use of advil can mess with your muscles ability to repair…
  • Also, I already ache so bad! Do your legs feel like they are about to die? Haha, mine sure do! But I know in time I will improve and it will all be worth it! side note: Some people suggest doing Month 1 twice if you are just beginning. I think that's what I am going to do.
  • Don't give up! I'm on day 2 of Insanity too! It was soooo hard but as long as you are doing some of the moves, in good form then that's great! You will improve. My friend is on phase two and it took her a week and a half before she really started to feel like she was doing well with a lot of the moves. You can do this!…
  • Were you pleased with your results? (this questions goes for anyone who has done this regularly and wants to answer haha). I am just starting out. :) Any starter tips?
  • This is a great idea! I have been trying to work on my pushups for awhile now and could never stick with it. I think doing this as a group will def help! However, it is difficult for me to do even 2 good pushups. That puts me in rank 1. Ready to improve!
