Keeping some type of sugary candy (twizzlers, spice drops, gum drops,skittles, starburst, etc) stashed in almost every nook and cranny. The all-sugar addiction was way too much. I had to put myself in rehab - low-carb rehab.

Thank you for both of those resources. What's funny is this one says to cut back on dairy and eliminate pork and those are the things I added when I went low-carb! I've fallen back in love with bacon and I'm not giving it up right now! Lol

Those are my calories per day, not including what I burn from working out. I honestly didn't think working out 4 days a week for 40-45 min was much. I worked out more when I was counting calories because I find I just don't lose without the exercise (experiencing the slow down after 40). I'm using a pair of too-small jeans…

That is EXACTLY what happened. I let my guard down and within 18 months, I had gained back 20 pounds. I have to keep track and be aware if I'm going to make it stick.

If you're not ready to fully commit, it's not going to matter if your diary is open or not. It's good that you're logging and now you can see where your trouble spots are. I eat most of my calories between 1-4 so I know to be careful about what I'm picking up or I will graze through 500-700 calories so fast! Get some…

You're in a good place! Log everything! I started back again after regaining 10 of the 30 I lost. I wish I didn't have to, but for now I do. If you're comfortable, open your diary. Accountability is a big part of this process. You can do this!

It's more like 3.0. I don't think they're brisk at all.

Losing is the easy part. Keeping it off is extremely hard! I lost 12 pounds in a month doing Extreme Fat Smash by Dr. Ian. Of course, it's all back but maybe if you're just doing it for a one-night thing, it could work!

Come here at least once a day. Log a food, exercise or just see what other people are up to. Add some friends too because you can get a lot of motivation from others. Good luck!

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad you got to spend those final says with your mom. I don't work outside of the home, but I don't know anyone else that does step aerobics and could use the motivation and accountability!
