I was working with a "trainer" who had me "push through the pain" to get my last reps in, ended up with a rotator cuff injury and couldn't lift anything overhead for almost 3 months. So yeah...I'm going to listen to my body now and when it's time to be done, it's time to be done.

What are the mini goals that you have? That's a great idea to break things down, it is daunting sometimes to look at the far off picture, seems like you'll never get there

Is that one of those scales that tells body fat? I always look at those, but not sure of accuracy. Then again, if it just gives trends, that might be all that I need. Congrats on your weight loss before, and I also have between 15 and 20 to lose. Gradual changes are best for me too, otherwise I tend to get discouraged and…

@jdingram1 those craft beers will get ya...I know that's my major downfall. I love my IPA's waaaay too much. I'm hoping a dry January will help me take off a few pounds.

Best of luck to you!!! I love weight training, I find it so much more fulfilling than cardio, although I know I need to do both.
