I'm a SAHM to a 16 month old. I used to workout at night but I have no idea how I ever had the energy. Lunch time and before my so gets up and husband leaves for work are my only times I have the energy now. Can you wake up early to get in a workout and use a DVD or YouTube video? You can try to make it to a gym over your…

Me! I'm 5'0. I weighed 110 my entire life, got pregnant and gained a ton of weight. Ended up at 198. I'm about 118 now and maintaining.

Yes! I eat some pretty weird stuff, lots of things many of my friends had never heard of. I love food and love to talk about it so it is great when people ask questions. That's the one downfall to intuitive eating and rarely logging food is the opportunity to actually talk about food.

Bingo. This is exactly how I have felt more times than I can count. I try not to judge because I guess some people just don't know any better but it can be really frustrating. I have weeded most of those folks out of my friends list.

Love this. Thanks for sharing.

Ummm....rage. That would have likely caused me to launch into a full on feminist rant.

Yes. Thank you!

Thanks for this!

Eeek! I must disagree with CCK and Undressed Skeleton...both have copied recipes from other bloggers many times and can be massively triggering. Undressed Skeleton even scored some gig with one of the teen magazines and lost it after a bunch of her former blog readers contacted the mag with concerns about her plagiarizing…

I am 5'0 and currently weigh 120-123. I fit into all my pre-pregnancy clothes and even the jeans I wore when I weighed 107 though which is odd but I also didn't work out before I got pregnant. I gained 90lbs when I was pregnant so I weighed about 200 when I went into labor. I've lost 85 so I guess I just turned a lot of…

Beautiful advice here. I also lack self control and am a great binge eater just for the sake of eating. If it is there, I will eat it. My problem has nothing to do with junk food either, I'll binge on anything. Still just a terrible habit and it makes you feel like crap wondering why you can't get a grip. I am much better…

They're really excellent if you have blood sugar issues. I had gestational diabetes and that's how I got introduced to these.

I don;t have time right now to read all these responses but wanted to say how much I LOVE Shirataki noodles! They do stink and the texture can be funny if you cook them wrong. Rinse like hell when you open them and dry fry in a pan until the squeak when you push them around...it will probably take longer than you'd expect.…

Are we talking like matching flannel top and bottoms or what here? The onesie thing is extreme and a sorry attempt at getting attention if you ask me. I wear sweats to the store all the time...

Yes! It can be tough. I force myself to workout before I do anything else. Usually during my son's morning nap, sometimes before my husband leaves for work. I don't keep any junk in the house and try to never leave hungry...even if we are going out for lunch I try to eat something before heading out. I can't imagine how…

Hi! I've been here for about a year. I gained 90lbs during my pregnancy and have lost all but 5 pounds. I lost 10 before I joined MFP and lost 75 using this site. Most of my mom friends I made when I joined are no longer using this site so I'm looking for more too!

Added! Thanks!

LOVE Jillian...30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30 and anything she does really. Blogilates is good too. I love her workouts but I can't stand her or the music in the videos. Great workouts though! Bodyrock is good also.

Great work! I can totally relate...I gained 90lbs with my son. He is 10 months old and I have lost all the weight except for 10lbs! I would love to be friends!

So so sorry you have to deal with this. Puts it all into perspective for me. My baby is happy and healthy...my body issues are nothing.

oops

I wouldn't say anything unless they asked. Worry about yourself and your own efforts.

Ahhhh!!!! AMAZING!

I can TOTALLY relate...my husband and I were married 3 months before I got pregnant and I weighed about the same as you in the end

I started walking 2.5-3 miles every day-every other day at about 3 weeks postpartum and hopped on the elliptical at 5 weeks. I had a pretty easy delivery and recovery. I could only do 5-10 mins back then. Now, I walk and do an hour on the elliptical. To be honest, I expected to notice that I was burning calories from…
