There's more of a difference in the MFP app. Here's some differences: * The ads are not so in-your-face (I joined in 2012 — it never used to be like that but oh well). * You can track macros instead of calories. * Rather than counting calories day by day you can do it so there's a meal-by-meal calorie total (but you can't…

I arrived at my dad's place in September. For the first month or so I was keeping within my calorie limits but when I started gaining weight, I gave up. My calorie intake can often reach 6000 in a day. This is mainly from dried fruit, bread and cakes that I bake. All this without dairy, gluten, wheat, preservatives or…

Figure out when you want to eat and how often. Divide your calories by the number of meals you want. I typically have 4 meals a day, one of which is a treat that I can have alongside any of the other meals or on its own. My current limit is 1200 calories, so that's 4 x 300 calorie meals. It's kinda tough but means I have…

32 servings is a hell of a lot of servings. I'd probably make it 16 servings at 260 calories each. But on the bright side I could never get sick of a good lasagne

If I want a relatively decadent cheesecake experience I crumble a large cookie into a little tub of chobani <3

Hmm I keep seeing tempura batter on special at coles and wondering if it would be a good idea to do it with that, and in the air fryer.

Adding cold milk to a perfectly delicious bowl of porridge. Once when I was a kid I ventured to have it without the milk, with brown sugar melted on top, and my dad was like "you forgot the milk" and I hated the thin, vomitty mixture so much I poured it down the sink.

If you are counting the calories burned from your workouts and otherwise sedentary, then keep the setting at sedentary. As long as you have a deficit of at least 500 calories you will lose weight fairly quickly and nearly 1000 is a big deficit- you won't achieve that every single day or you'll burn out. If MFP says "if…

I know how you feel  I was convinced I was hourglass shape until I gained some weight and it all went to my butt and thighs. Seriously, I realised my butt isn't THAT big when I see Nicki Minaj vids. But still annoys me  Try finding out your BMI. I know that my butt gets smaller at that weight but without…

I realised I was "letting myself go" when I reached 66 kg. But it's difficult to say in OP's position because there's no height provided. I'm 5'8/173 cm btw. But yeah, 1200 calories plus exercise is a bit tough. OP could probably have 1200 cals and not exercise, and lose weight. OR they could have 1500-2000 cals, do the…

PB2, Nanna's Waffles, banana. Only 390 cal for all!! Okay, so while I was at my dad's, he made this sauce that had pad thai sauce, pasta sauce and some kind of Indian tomato based sauce, and served it with broccoli-sweet potato-potato-pepita mash and chicken tenderloins. Easy supermarket salad with rotisserie chicken…

Woah. I felt bad about gaining 8 pounds over my ideal weight. And I am still "slender," just not so "skinny" anymore. I can still fit into size 8 (Australian) jeans, but my butt is bigger so they are harder to get on and I have given up trying to keep the zipper up (for the opposite reasons I used to!!). I still count and…

Buy a pint of Ben & Jerry's. As long as you burn 400 calories, your exercise calories should make up for going over. Easy

Yes, after a 175 g bag of chips. And kiwifruit (but only if I eat the skin)
