Edit: Nevermind

I'm on level 2 now, and don't worry, I feel like the first 2 or 3 days of each level is pretty brutal. But stick with it!

There's also a few PMS teas out there that don't have caffeine in them but do have some herbs (I'm thinking saw palmetto but I could be off on that....and also dandelion root) which help with pms water retention and also cramps. Yogi tea makes an organic one but I've seen a few other ones at GNC and also Fred Meyer. Edit:…

What style of yoga are you looking for?

I hate when that happens. Mine was at Le Bistro Montage in Portland, Oregon. They have a delicious Old Mac with ham dish that is only like $10 and seems like an average portion of mac and cheese...ended up being 1800 calories! It is delicious though, definitely not our typical mac and cheese :P

Sounds good, I can't wait to try it!

I'm getting some this week! Can't wait to try it!

My guess would be that you are possible not eating enough. Do you know your BMR and TDEE? Also, how tall are you? Since you're down to the last few pounds you want to lose it's definitely going to be more difficult. Sounds like you are doing a great job of working out, you could try adding some strength training into your…

Try reading these: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/931670-bmr-and-tdee-explained-for-those-needing-a-guide http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/968182-i-lost-a-person-but-i-found-myself-leaky-s-story I think it will clear up your questions about calories, they both really helped me and a lot of others. Good luck!

Well I'm definitely a little late, but I'm interested in starting this today! So that will put this for 5/1 to 8/17 :) I do yoga at home by myself, I have a dvd I just started, it's called Ashtanga Yoga Beginners Practice with Nicki Doane, here's a link to it on amazon:…

Have you tried anything like Benefiber? I'm not sure of the ingredients so there might be something you could be allergic to in it...? But I take a Safeway brand and I like it for days when I didn't get enough fiber from my normal foods. One serving has around 3g or 4g of fiber in it and it's tasteless and you can add it…

Also if you feel bloating you might be retaining water, what's your sodium intake like?
-
Anyone?

How many calories are you eating? If you are netting less than your BMR that could definitely make you feel ravenous. Also, if you're hungry, then eat. Grab an apple, make a salad, or have a banana. Just listen to your body :)
-
I gained at first too, it took me about 10-12 days to get back to my weight when I started TDEE-20%, but every body is different, I have heard to give it (or any major diet change) at least 6 weeks and then reevaluate from there :)
-
That's awesome!
-
I second the nerfitness and bodyrocktv. Also 30ds is awesome and free on youtube! Other than that, a big bag of salad is less than a dollar at most grocery stores :) I spend way less buying salads than I ever did on "non-diet" foods! But I do love a good salad :)

I agree with this! I didn't check your diary, but if you aren't logging calories then definitely start, abs are made in the kitchen ;) Also, on my first 10 days I gained around 3lbs, and now 2 days later I'm back to my starting weight and definitely feeling more toned. It's probably just water weight.

This has definitely happened to me, errr except for being shocked at how overweight I looked! It's one thing when you leave your house in the morning thinking you look a certain way (usually standing up straight, sucking it in looking in a mirror) and another to see a candid photo of yourself out in the real world! It's…

Wow you look great!
-
It could be the 1200 calories, I know I get moody when I don't eat very much!
-
Sorry I don't have any advice :( But you look awesome in your profile pic! And on a side note, did you get hired on with cirque de soleil (sp?) ? They are fantastic!
-
It's hard to give advice without a little more info. How tall are you and how much are you looking to lose? Also how many calories are you netting each day? Other than that, congrats on the initial weight loss! Unfortunately weight loss is not linear, and sometimes it can be really frustrating. Don't give up!

^^This, and tomorrow is a new day.

Wow this is a great resource! Thank you for putting all of these together!

I just wanted to say hello and that I'm excited about this group! I've always been interested in belly dancing but unfortunately I'm shy and pretty uncoordinated, especially when it comes to dancing! I have some videos at home that I am yet to start but I will definitely be getting on it in the next few days, I do yoga…

I'm a little jealous - it didn't snow where I live at all this winter! I'm definitely glad it's becoming spring though, it's 75 today and was 76 yesterday. It definitely makes working out seem more fun, I have been hooping all week :)
-
It doesn't hurt to take a day off, Jillian recommends it in a few of her podcasts on the 30ds. I wouldn't do it twice in one day and count it as two days, just do it tomorrow and keep going like normal. I think in the grand scheme of things that will give you better results.

That's a really great quote! And to the OP don't give up, you are a beautiful person inside and out, and a binge isn't going to change that. You're a strong women and I know that a little slip up is not going to hold you back! :flowerforyou:
