  • Getting back at it after a 60lb+ loss maintained for 2 years because of MFP that slowly crept back on (minus 25 lbs) when not using MFP. Days away from hitting 30 lb lost and would love some cheerleaders! I am great at cheering you on too!
  • My husband has it and has for several years now. Rest did not help. Actively working it did. He sees a chiro who "works it out" through rather painful massage. He wears these at night. http://www.amazon.com/Strassburg-Sock-Regular-Size-Around/dp/B001AW3O00/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357574418&sr=8-1&keywords=plantar+socks…
  • Ugh. You are making me work too hard. I only watch my cals EVER. Ok. Ok. I can do this. My fiber will always be high though.
  • What an awesome idea.
  • Welcome back. I am so sorry, it sounds like you have had a lot going on, We are happy to have you back that and know you will make great strides.
  • I love all of your points but one really hit me: 3. Focus on how much weight I'd lost. All that did was keep reinforcing my self-image as a fat person. I was a fat person who'd lost weight. This time, I focused on how much I weighed and how good I looked. I threw away my larger clothing and bought new stuff all along the…
  • I am not a fan of their politics but I love that they have healthy food choices for me and my kids. Give me that any day over Mickey D's. That being said....order a #5, 12 pieces, grilled, side salad, raspberry vinaigrette. Add an extra 4 count grilled and it is 425 calories.
  • I am on w8 of C25k. I was not a runner before this. I have done multiple 5k races where I walked, walk/run, and am prepping for a full run in Sept. 9k per hour sounds crazy fast to me, as someone who is not a runner. The 5k races I have done have taken me about 48-53 mins, so almost an hour. 9k in that time is almost twice…
  • Thanks you guys! These are great. I have no idea how I never read Good In Bed but started last night and will work my way down the list.
  • Just kept doing the same and eventually it came off. Was super hungry today but think tomorrow will still be in 160s.
  • Ha! No. Not the pretty woman style, just the type everyone seems to be wearing these days. Probably in brown. OK...so I know I am not Cameron Diaz, but something like this....
  • Oh, and I said knee high but i really mean like the upper calf high, but that just sounds weird.
  • Love love love responses especially the last one! What a great idea (and the girls night out idea too)! PS--Hubby's old jeans were so Costco special!!!
  • I open up iMapMyRun on iPhone too before the C25k app and then use it to record my whole trip. At the end, it calculates calories burned based on my pace and time. It has been very accurate. I am on w7 day 2
  • We eat out a lot. Even if it is not a chain,I can usually find something similar in the database. If I can't, then I break up the meal by each component. Grilled chicken, avocado, asparagus, tomatoes. I stay away from salads or at the least salad dressings. A lot of times places make things sound healthy/light and they are…
  • I am a huge 50 shades fan (don't judge me!). I loved Bared to You as well and actually listening to the audio while I do Couch 2 5k. Waiting on the sequel. Sleeping Beauty was just bizarre IMO. For fun cheap/ reads (non-erotica) I like Heather Wardell and she just did a part of her series (although you do not have to read…
  • So you gained a pound in 5 days of vacation while making good food choices? That is why for me I want to keep using this, regardless.
  • ^^^This!!! I worry about what happens when MFP goes under (because, if I get healthy I plan to live to 100 and I am not sure if MFP will be here in 2076). My doctor told me that "I won't always do this, I will just know how to do things/eat the right way". Really? I spent 35 years getting fat. It happens easily when you…
  • I feel the exact same way. It bothers me too. I actually constantly think of myself as "maintaining" because even though I still have about 30 pounds to lose, every day that I am at this weight and not gaining, I am maintaining my lifestyle. I eat the way I do today, the way I will 6 mos or a year from now. If I want…
  • flat iron!!!!
  • @Shea I am thinking 145? Edited to remove my tracker! :)
  • False...although tomorrow night partying with the rollergirls, does that count???? TPBM loves the 80's
  • Wholeheartedly YES! "Bad" things I have eaten and still been within calories: Pizza (Delivery, not Digiorno!) Cake Fro Yo (I can't eat ice cream) Cookies Chocolate Bread Wine Cheese Girl Scout Cookies (deserving of their own category) I have not had McDonald's (I love me a BigMac). I eat Chick fil A grilled nuggets…
  • That I no longer worry about washing clothes or how many wears to get between washes in case things "shrunk."
  • OK, I am like halfway through the article and had to stop. Um, he had them eat 500-550 calories ONLY per day and is SHOCKED why they GAINED weight after they left his program. REALLY???
  • Hey guys.. Just to clarify.. a) I would veer and immediately correct, was not like I was zig zagging along the pool the entire way down nor was I just swimming on the wrong side of the circle the whole time. I just did not have enough control to go a straight line the whole way. b) I picked a middle lane, not an outer…
  • They do it here in the south, too. I had no idea what they were talking about.
  • Thanks everyone for your interest! Invites have been sent and closing the group now.
