Hey ladies, I see we are all at the same crossroads: nausea and names, lol. I am hopeful that maybe this nausea is coming to a close but I still don't feel quite myself. I had my ultrasound today and everything was wonderful. I saw the baby kicking and talking, and waving to us. It was a special moment for my husband and…

I had my 1st appointment last Friday. Since my doc was already very familiar with me we didn't have to go over medical history. He did give me a vaginal and breast exam. They reconfirmed my pregnancy by testing my urine. I had a sonogram where I got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. I was able to ask questions that I…

Hey ladies, I'm new to thread. I've calculated my edd to be 11/17. My first doc appt is Friday and I can't wait. This will be our second. We have a 2 year old son but I had a miscarriage in Dec so we are nervous as well. My nausea is all over the place and only comes second to my feelings of fatigue. I am so glad to have…

Hey guys!!! I am right here with you deep in the throws of nausea and exhaustion, lol. I am 8 weeks and 3 days. Right now my edd is 11/17 but my first doc appt is Friday. We already have a busy 2 year old that will be 3 in Aug. We also miscarried in Dec so we feel blessed to get another opportunity. Add me if you like…

The usual wanting to be healthy so I start with a walk and let it inspire me to do other things.

Been there done most of these, lmao. When you have friends and/ or family come into town and you tell them to bring their workout clothes. Lol

This is the same as C25k. If you have a smartphone you can download this as an app for free. I completed this program last Thursday, March 8th, and ran a 5k race on Saturday. It's definitely doable. Just take your time, don't get discouraged, and it's okay if you feel the need to repeat a week. Good luck to you…

Dave, Dave, Dave... Smh, lmao.

With my first pregnancy I was overweight before so I only gained 25 lbs. I loved and my baby loved water aerobics. It was very soothing. This time I have already started running and I am hoping to continue running, walking, and water aerobics if we get pregnant again. I have been running for two months and I hope to…

Couch to 5K is an awesome start. I just graduated from it and I am soo in love with running right now. Try it you won't be disappointed and yes, I've noticed some slimming in my hips, legs, and calves. I don't measure but I am sure inches have come off.
-
Thanks for the question. I was just going to ask about this. I was slowing my running down just to stay in Zone 3 and I felt like I was just walking.
-
Sign up for a 5k, that's what I did, lol. It was the first time I ran outside and I was scared but I did it ;) and you can too.

Leftovers, Spinach stuffed Pasta Shells per skinnytaste.com, yummy :P

Thanks for that but I sometimes maybe twice a week already run almost 5 miles, if not five, so it's wouldn't be soo much of a stretch. As I said, I can concentrate on increasing my mileage for all the week or making better time with my 5k. Whichever choice you choose is fine by me. Today is my running rest day, especially…

Ok, I can comfortably run 3 miles 4 days a week which equals 12 miles. I can challenge myself to either doing 20 miles this week or doing the 3 miles possibly at a faster pace. I completed my 5k race today @ 44:37; as a result, I would love to do better with my time or maybe doing it in under 42 minutes.

Hey Ladies!!! Add me please! I just finished the C25k yesterday, I run a 5k tomorrow and I would love to keep the momentum going. What do they say strike while the iron's hot, lol.

Ok, don't laugh!!! I looove Kill Bill Vols 1 & 2. As a result, I have always wanted to be Black Momba, just bad a**ed and able to kick some a**. I think it's sexy as hell and a great way of defending myself if I ever had too. The ladies on both movies are very empowering to me and I LOVE IT!!! ;)

Oh, yes! This is definitely my goal. I am working hard to be maintaining my goal by then. I will 39 next Wednesday so I am actively working at it. Good luck to you on the journey.

Girl, that's awesome!! You should be proud because this is an awesome accomplishment. I am on Week 8 day 2 and I am loving it. Keep up the great work, doll!

I like to put on a movie, something without commercials, otherwise my 2 1/2 will keep asking me to fast forward every time a commercial comes on. Sometimes he too will watch Nick Jr through the commercials. I can't wait to try the bike trailer this summer and he also has a bike that I can guide I am hoping that this year…

This is so true. Use your own discretion as far as moving on. I finished Week 7 Day 3 today and I continued to run until I had run 4:63 miles which took me an hour to do. I am thoroughly enjoying this journey. Keep at it but at your own pace. The journey is worth it.
