Oh god, BUMP!

Ask a trainer or someone who seems to know what they are doing to help you identify the olympic bar. Start there. It is 40 pounds. It would help to use a book like New Rules, too.

1) As a Woman, keep in mind where you are in your cycle. 2) Weight can fluctuate as much as 7 pounds a day. 3) Take measurements, do not just watch the scale. Are you losing inches? 4) Eat more than 1200, you should look up fat2fit radio. Rather than eating back exercise calories, eat your TDEE (as calculated by F2F)...

I can see a difference all over not just in the shirt. Your arms and face are looking great, too!

I had to google this but my answer is still the same. MFP works. It is all about calories in and calories out!

Your profile says you are 5f2 and fairly close to your goal weight. In fact, I would venture to say you are at healthy weight but trying to get more fit. If so, 1800 calories is perfect. I am right now eating at 1600 calories, eating my exercise calories back and I am 25 years old. Your age, plus your height, makes it seem…

Can I just be best MFP friends with anyone and everyone who responded positively/awesomely/not grossly to this message?

Oh, God, amazing.

THIS! It took me awhile to realize that 1) I was losing far to quickly, 2) not eating enough/calories back, and 3) strength training was the best thing ever.

I started out my journey at 190. I now weigh 149-151 on any given day. I'm still considered overweight. Do not go by your BMI to determine these things. I feel like most people think I am 5-10 pounds lighter. I've determined that I would like to lose 5 more inches around my mid-section and an inch or two more around my…

Oh, so cute!

I have a tablespoon of honey, somehow, each day. It is the only form of sugar besides stevia that I use.

I am tone deaf.

Oh, and just to follow, it does help to eat afterwards if you are hungry.

Let me guess, Bally's Fitness, right? Yep, they are primarily looking to sell you their stuff from the juice bar. Don't believe it!

Greek yogurt, granola and honey. That is typically my go to snack.

I like making the quinoa as you normally would but instead of water or broth use vanilla almond milk. Once it is done add cinnamon, chopped medjool dates, and sliced almonds to your liking. For every half cup of cooked quinoa plus the added ingredients, add vanilla pudding (sugar-free or whatever you wish) to the mix. I do…

This! You aren't eating at a calorie deficit/maintenance intake if you are gaining....

Nobody said that it was the boyfriend or husband of anyone. I mean, I am totally having my best friend at my bachelorette party. He rocks!

I try to plan my days out ahead of time. So, every morning (or the night before), I log in and plan my meals for the next day. I remember my plans when I am at work and stick to it!

At first, I thought this was a serious thread. I was going to post a serious response. Then, I read the others and thought "No way, this deserves a...wait, are they for real? Starbursts?" I was SO consumed by the fact that I was like "People actually believe this..." and then realized...I feel gullible. Not about the…

Body Fortress products sit around 15$ at walmart with 130 calories a scoop and 26g of protein. so good!

Look up black bean brownies!

If you are losing inches, you are losing fat and toning. I have lost about 40 pounds but have not lost a pound since early March. It is super frustrating but I have accepted that I need to stop looking at the scale. Also, I have increased my calorie limit on MFP to 1500 calories. Though, I do eat my exercise calories, so…

I'm a spin instructor and lately I have had a lot of classes and not enough time to run. I ran today for the first time in a week and, despite spinning for the last 5 days (totalling an hour each), I lost a few minutes off my last 5K time today. It could have been time of day, I typically run in the mornings!

Never hold yourself back, if you are hungry. Tomorrow is a new day.

This is not a question out of judgement but is avacado really a paleo food? I did not think the diet based itself off of the region historically known for incorporating avacado in its diet.
