Yes while Breastfeeding you need to eat more that 1200 for sure but 1500 is still too low. Your milk may dry up. If you want to keep breastfeeding while losing weight you may want to concider the Weight Watchers diet. They have a plan you can do while Breastfeeding. 1200 is not enough! I did that and my weight lost completly stopped! I now do TDEE and minus 20% am finally losing again. like maryjane_88 said above....check out Scooby's site

I am!! feel free to add me Im doing TDEE -20% My exercise is included in the activity level so I log exercise as 1 calorie burned and eat @1500 Im 40yrs 5'2 and @159 lbs did the 1200 calorie thing and was starving and weight loss stalled hoping to lose 20 more :)

I had really never run any distances before but I wanted to complete a half Marathon by 40 so I started running using the Jeff Galloway methond and OMG its amazing! Its very graduall and there is a phone app for it. basicly its a 1min walk/1min run and it really helped me work up to long distances.
