I used to belong to a gym and lost some weight (maybe 15 pounds) but eventually gained it back and then as a student couldnt afford the gym anymore. Decided to do this without a gym and have lost 25 pounds and have kept it off. I wont go back to a gym! Totally do-able without!

I just googled it .. so eat the calorie intake MFP gives you but on two days eat around 1/4 of that or around 500 calories? I might try this!

Welcome :) If you keep this up you will definitely see results :D Maybe by your wedding you will be down quite a bit! And counting calories and seeing how much some food is actually worth in calories will really shock you and hold you accountable. I love this site and again, welcome!

I used to aim for 800 calories burnt a day and i burnt myself out and ended up gaining my weight back. Now I aim to exercise, and if I burn 300 ish Im happy cause I still stay within my calorie goals

I did it after Christmas and only got half way .. just wasn't feeling it anymore but for those 2-3 weeks along with a good diet I noticed a change!

I lost a bunch of weight after Christmas and it didnt take long... I could see myself being down a considerable amount of weight in 6 months. Thanks for that .. gave me a bit of hope :)
