  • Beeps, Your pix are great! You said alot of things that were great. I hated the posing. I am not a bikini and heels kinda a girl. That is why my photos are done professionally and no heels. But it is all about how you feel. I could care less if I placed or not. Never did a contest before. But I am in a size 6 skinny jeans…
  • Great job! Keep it up. You are an inspiration for older women.
  • Beeps, Thanks for the great post about Bobbie. She also got me involved in VI and I am so grateful for her in my life. I hope we are able to see the interview. I have her pic and email on my mirror. She is my inspriration and with this interview, I am sure she will be others as well. Cant wait. Cynthia

  • Hey Dana, I am on week 6 of Phase 1. Love it. It gives me a focus I never had before. You can do it at home or at the gym. Make sure you use your heart rate monitor and keep your heart rate about 110. Bobbie is definately our Queen of VI but any of us 'proncesses' will help as well. Good luck and make sure you friend me.…
  • I love it! Use it all the time. Both powder and mixed with water. Great alternative.
  • Can you tell us how it works, Im confused. Do you submit before and afters, or just the befores. Right now?
  • I do cardio 10-15 mins before lifting. Then combined lifting and cardio by doing super sets and keepping my heart rate up. No rest. Then on off lift days, I just do cardio. Run, Spin, anything to keep the heart rate up. The key is, do what works for you.
  • We have talked enough for you to know that your story has also inspired me to try the workout. I have also took before VI pic. Cant wait to share my after Phase I pic. I hope they look as good as yours someday. As you know, today I broke down and cried, right in the gym in the middle of my workout. You were right,…
  • You can do it girlie! This is my first time doing the Venus Index. I am on week 3, no significant change yet but I am excited to see everyone's progress and it keeps me motivated. There are dip machines at the gym if you dont want to use the bench. You can keep your legs bent instead of straight. But a pain across the…
  • Cardio burns calories for that hour you are doing it, good. Weight training burns all day long, better. Even best, super set your weight training so you sweat and keep your heart rate up. That way you combine both and will enjoy the burn all day long.
  • I thought so, my trainer called is suicide by exercise if I did all three sets. I only did one. The program is going great. I love it. I dont take 60 sec breaks between exercises thou. I super set them in blocks of three to keep my heart rate up. Today I felt so good, that I added one more super set from last week to the…
  • I agree with everythig he says. Start weight lifting cardio style. super sets to keep your met going. Weight lifting burns all day long. Cardio only burns that 200 calories for that one hour. Lower your carbs, higher your protein. Got to do this. Weigh your foods not your body. Got to change!!! Listen to HIM!!
  • Hi girlies, i am 5'5" and started at 220 pounds. I am currently at 160 on a goal to 150. I discovered and love weight training. I am on week two of the venus index. Loving every minute of it. Leeking forward to seeing how you girls are doing it.
  • I mix my protien powder with my coffe every morning. It is a great way to get your protien in. Def do it! Use whey protien. Can get it at Walmart.
  • my trainer only allows me to weigh in once a month. I fought it, but it was the best idea. Not obssessed over the scale anymore.
  • Walmart has Body Fortress Whey Protien. Good for you. Inexpensive. Only 140 cal, 30 grams of protien. Get whey vs soy. Better for weight loss.
  • 6 inch flat bread egg white, provolone, spinach. 220 calories
  • I workout everyday. I do about the same. Do about 20 mins at least for cardio, get your heart rate up. While lifting, do a full body workout every time. Keep your heart rate up. Get a monitor if you can. To figure your target heart rate take your age and subtract 220. Do supersets, or jumping jacks between sets to keep it…
  • You need muscle confusion. Get a trainer, change up your routine. Change the calories consumed in myfitnesspal, drop it by at least 100 pounds. Also when you exercise, change the calories burned to 0. Dont let myfitnesspal add those calories to your total so you eat those calories as well. Put your scale in your basement…
