I'm always just under my recommended calorie intake
-
Really? I'm worried that the excess sugar will turn to fat instead of being used up?
-
So how much cardio do you think I should do ? My trainer suggested 30 min twice a week, but that seems a little low, no?
-
Oh sorry I guess I should have mentioned that! My diet is clean. I eat every 2-3 hours. 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein. MFP has me on 1270 calls a day, but i usually eat around 1700 ( i eat back almost all of my exersise cals). I have one cheat meal a week.

Oo the honey sounds like a good trick for those super sluggish days haha. I usually work out about an hour after breakfast and usually have some sort of whole grain cereal or whole wheat toast as well. I've recently become interested in the hype with all these pre-workout drinks but they don't sound like they would be that…

That is really interesting! I occasionally have a cup and feel super guilty because I felt like it was bad haha

Do you do incorporate any core or body weight exercises in your routine? Instead of using a bench when you do your chest press or skull crushers use a stability ball. Its hard to target particular spots but exercises that help target your core will help tighten up your obliques as well. Try doing abdominal twists with a…

oh my gosh! what a b#%^! I think you did the right thing. If you cussed her off that could have turned into an uncomfortable situation. Use that negativeity to fuel your workouts!

thats wonderful thanks for sharing:) the bcaas are supposed to help with the muscle recovery, yes? what about the creatine?
-
Oh thats interesting ! I always thought that certain types ( sugar or carbs ect ) are more likely to turn to fat than others. So your saying if you go over your max calorie count for the day.. It doesnt matter where the calories are coming from.. They will turn to fat ?
-
welcome! i added you as well.. :) you've definitely come to the right place!

I completely agree. Your body composition is a biggie. I'm 5'3 as well. I was 120 in the summer and was really disapointed when I gained 10 pounds, but after getting my body fat measured, it was lower then when I was 120. I put on 10 pounds of muscle. 104 does seem really small to me, but then again it all depends on your…

me me me :) Welcome!

I remember reading somewhere that if you go overboard your protein intake, whatever your body doesn't use turns into fat. If you're working out vigoursly, especially if your lifing, you will need more protein than a non-active person but I wouldn't overdue it.

this is great! thank you!

if you like a little fix in your drinks try soda water! There are even some brands that add some lemon flavour. I find with plain water it feels like my food just lays in my tummy..i need a little fiz. Just be sure that the brand you're getting is sodium free. :)
