Sugar RDA for added sugar or natural sugar?

I'm confused! I am ALWAYS over my sugar intake, no matter what I do-- I eat a lot of fruit though. my RDA for sugar is 30g per day. This seems really low considering a glass of skim milk has 12g of sugar. Is the daily recommendation only for added sugars or sugar overall (including natural). I'm worried that this may be setting me back

In what way do you think you'd be setting yourself back? Assuming you aren't diabetic or have other medical condition that would limit your sugar, it won't have any discernible effect on your weightloss, assuming you can maintain a caloric deficit while consuming over 30g of sugar

the RDA was established by scientists and medical professionals under the DRI.

there is NO RDA for sugar. nor is there any upper limits for it.

Really? I'm worried that the excess sugar will turn to fat instead of being used up?

Are you eating it in a caloric surplus or deficit?
