If I eat more protein at my breakfast, I stay full longer. I like to eat 2 boiled eggs, and a Yoplait light or some kind of greek yogurt. Even though I eat steel cut oats a lot and sometime cereal, I find that I stay fuller longer with the eggs and yogurt together. Plus, sometimes I think snacking can be a habit, and we…

Thanks, everyone. I will clarify that I calculate all my exercise calories by using my heart rate monitor. I never use the MFP estimation. Also, I usually eat under my allotted calories for the day. This past week, my summary said that I was 834 calories under my weekly goal. My daily goal was 500 calories (1pound a week…

OMG! Seems like she is unhappy with herself and was trying to vent her frustration out on you, and justify her disgusting food habits at the same time. You are awesome!

I take CLA. It is supposed to help you loose fat, particularly around the stomach, and build lean muscle, but it takes several weeks to see any results. So, you have to stick with it consistantly for a long time. It stands for Conjugated Linoleic Acid, and it's found in foods like red meats, etc. You'd have to eat a whole…

Super Awesome!!!! Great job! You look amazing!

The machine may be more accurate since it knows the intensity you are going at. I think the MFP is a general estimate. I would be prudent and use the lower amount. And, it it's more calories, then it's a surprise bonus that will show up on your scales.

Yes, indead! It's been 3 days since I did some kettle bell swings/squats. I'm still sore when I go to sit down and stand up!

It could just be water retention due to hormone fluctuations. I weighed 1.5 heavier this morning than yesterday. I know I didn't gain 1.5 pounds over night. Give it time, and stay off the scales for a while. :) Good luck!

I am 195.5 now, and am 5'9". I want be be around 165. I think dropping 30 pounds will be enough. I don't want to look unhealthy.

Yes, kettle bells are a good workout. They will make your thighs beg for mercy the next day! I have a kb work out dvd and need to get back with doing the workout a few times a weeks with my other things I'm into right now, like running and zumba.

It's a work out DVD by Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Looser. It's meant to be done each day for 30 days. They are 20 minute workouts with alternating intervals of cardio, strength, and abs. It's pretty intense.

I have the 30 day shred. It's been a while since I've tried it. The problem is that I have a bad shoulder. I've had surgery on it a year ago, and I still have trouble. Push ups are almost impossible for me to do. What alterative do I have when it's push up time? I can manage wall push ups. That's about it.

I'm going to check that out! I had estimated my calorie burn by using the aerobic dancing choice for activities. Thanks!

WAY TO GO!!! That is awesome! I've heard that losing weight can make sleep apnea go away! How wonderful for you!!!

I used to run, but with the winter yucky wet, cold weather, I'm having to work out indoors. We bought my boys a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. I bought a bundle that has the Wii Fit Plus and the balance board with it. I love it. I also bought the Zumba Fittness workout for the Wii. It is awesome. So, when I cannot get out an…
