After going through several cheap blenders I highly recommend spending the $ for a Ninja. I went thru 4 before finally breaking down & getting a good one. It was well worth the $ since I use it daily for blending ice & fruit.

I used to have to take daily meds for migraines. :( a good daily dose of magnesium really helps that. It also helps with regulating poo, nervous system, relaxes your muscles, good for your heart. I usually drink green tea, black tea & Oolong white tea.

Fish (mercury), lean meat...OP asked for other alternatives besides meat. ;) The alternatives I provided are high protien, low fat, low sodium & a good carb in moderation (everything should be in moderation).

Most ppl think "sugarfree" means exactly that....BUT...it usually means "hidden sugar". I use Spry cinnamon gum. Uses Xylitol as a sweetener.

Broccoli, quinoa (super food...gold of the Inca LOL, lentils, garbanzo beans, hummus, soy, kidney beans...I could go on & on. Lots of stuff with much less sodium ;) & higher protien.

Try Greek yogart...add a little Stevia. Stick to fruit that is less in sugar (strawberry, orange, grapefruit, raspberry, apples). Stay away from processed food. ;)

Well you can take it as a shot (blek), but I get the ACV pills & gets them that way. My joints don't feel so swollen when I use it, also helps with gout, acv in a bath with epsom salt is a great way to ease joint pain. Acv is one of those super foods it does sooooo much.

I drink @ least half my body weight in water every day...I only count the water...not my tea. (i drink about 96oz...which is a little over half) I also drink more close to ovulating & TOM, IF I eat something I shouldn't have, workout, etc.
