I've been taking kettlebell classes with my trainer. The main thing to focus on is your form. You can't go wrong with a POLAR! My model is old and discontinued but I haven't had any problems with it in the 3 years I have been using it. I just bought my husband a POLAR for Christmas too!

I always have a scoop with 8 oz water pre-workout, and post-workout I make my smoothie... 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/2 (small) banana, FF Skim Milk, Scoop of Vanilla protein, ground flax seed & L-Glutamine powder. LOVE IT and look forward to it everyday!

Just curious...did you have a calorie point/metabolic test first? It is important to have one and then have your HRM programmed to your specific zones. You will get a very accurate reading after being tested.

1200 is a very low caloric intake for anyone. If you exercise, you should be eating more. Eating less can make you gain, so NOT healthy at all.
