Hello I'm on day 2 of Chris Powell's turbo cycle. I'm enjoying it so far with no cravings and not a lot of hunger. Feel free to add me and check out my diary. I did low carb years ago and lot 30 pounds, after a couple more kids I needed to re-lose the weight and lost about 25 with MFP. I took the summer off and I have…

It says it is a blend of concentrate and isolate. wroth the first ingredient being milk. .. I guess I should have looked into this before buying it. Thanks for the replies!!!

I do find it odd that there really is no set number of carbs that we shouldn't exceed on either day. I'm going to keep researching before starting on Monday.

Ive searched everywhere and cannot find a number for carbs. I know on low carb days I get one serving of carbs so the number will be pretty low. It will probably vary on high days depending on the carbs chosen.

Thank you all for the replies..

Thanks. The book from what I read isn't pushing any products. He does recommend a protein shake if your not able to cook or have access to protein foods.

I had a partial hysterectomy last March '12 at 34 years old. I had large uterine fibroids with really heavy periods. It was really the best choice for me. I was finished having kids. I have not had one issue with "side effects" of my missing uterus since I still have my ovaries.

Thanks I'll check it out. Sorry for TMI but I no longer get the monthly cycle, so I don't think that is causing an issue with my weight loss.

Hello. I'm going to try JUDDD starting tomorrow. I sort of had a 700 cal DD today so tomorrow will be an up day. I've lost 17 lbs at 1200 cal per day. Hi. I've been a nurse for 5+ years. I started in med/surg and now work from home for a physician advisory group. I've been using MFP since December and I've lost 16 pounds so far. Add me if you like.

Thanks. I may have to give this a try and plan out a weeks menu. I tried atkins before and it was just so strick. I like the fruit and veggie options.

Also do you still eat a certain amount of calories per day? Thanks

Is there a limit of the daily carbs allowed with paleo?

Do I need to take into account that I have a desk job which means I pretty much sit for 12 hours a day up to 4 days a week?

I'm looking for pre made low budget healthy meals plans.

Thank you all so much. I looked at food on the table and they charge also, but it does look interesting.

I technically work out 5 days a week for at least 30 min. I only put in 3 days a week in the calculator because I don't know if what I'm doing (30 day shred) is considered a moderate exercise (I burn 200 per 30 minutes) Also, if exercise is built into the TDEE, I would not eat back my exercise calories, right?
-
I've been logging every bite I put into my mouth and I wear a heart rate monitor at each workout. Maybe I'm not consuming enough calories. I'm afraid eat more will equal gain more.
-
The whole TDEE is so confusing. I just re-did my TDEE with light exercise 3 days a week (burn 1500-2000 cal per week) is 1964 minus the 20% it's 1571. Is this what my daily intake should be an not 1471 which is still above my BMR?

I'm working on reducing processed foods. I've got portions under control, just have to work on lowering carbs. I have been for 30 day shred for the past week and I walk/jog on the treadmill (which I am also trying to increase - just so out of shape).
