The paid version also has elevation and a low power option but if you don't care about that the free version is dandy. You could always go with Zombies, run. All the benefits of a pedometer and tracking software…

I used to make risotto all the time. It's really more of a method then a recipe. First, heat up about 4 cups of broth. I used chicken but you could easily substitute that for veggie. Bring it to a simmer and leave it warming on the stove. I start out sauteing an onion in a tablespoon of butter or olive oil until it is…

I keep a pizza stone on my grill for this purpose. Makes things much easier!

Nothing to do with being ashamed. I am a very private person. I have zero desire to have my photo on this or any other website. I don't do facebook or myspace or any other social media sites. I prefer to live my life offline in the real world. I use this site as a tool.

I'm in! If it isn't too late. I just finished a different challenge and I need a new one. 150 miles. Biking, walking, hiking. Thanks!

I would love to see some photos of your yurt. Before we had to move to the city my boyfriend really wanted to build one. Hopefully someday we will be able to get back to it.

They came with my man, about 8 years now. He picked it up from his grandpa who had hives for like 50 years. (waving back from Knoxville, Tennessee :-)

Hi Everyone, I am Emelia. I am so glad I found this group. I am more of an urban homesteader these days. We moved from the country to a house in the city last year. We have(had) chickens. We are having to go through major permit hoops to get our girls back. Right now they are residing at my man's mom's house. I REALLY miss…

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society -Funny title I know, but the audiobook is wonderfully done. It's being adapted to film now with Kate Winslet set to star. Here is the description from Amazon: “ I wonder how the book got to Guernsey? Perhaps there is some sort of secret homing instinct in books that…

Thanks. This is as sick as I remember being in a long time. I missed both my birthday and Valentine's day too which isn't fun. I'm not beating myself up over not reaching this goal. I am 2 pounds away from 20 pounds in 2 months so it all evens out.
