I had a tough time finding a way to choke down the vanilla myself, until i reached the end (we are talking two scoops left). I put it in oatmeal (BLEH!) with Milk & ice for a smoothie (BLEH!), a little in yogurt (BLEH!) the flavor just overpowered EVERYTHING i put it in. The last time it was ok for me I mixed it with 30g…

Actual facebook post rom my past: "Did i really just come home, put on my work out clothes, grab a bag of chips and sit on the couch? Yes. yes I did. Its been that kind of day and I have zero regrets" It was quickly followed by at least 20 responses that 'they" do it all the time. Short answer (i know, too late) NO you are…

LMAO...this was just the topic of conversation two hours ago.... Together 15+ years. Three kids. We work different shifts but he tries very hard to be awake when I get home so we all eat dinner together and spend some time joking around. I flat out initiated tonight and he mentioned something about me being the "aggressor"…

No i'm not opposed to supplements - i'll check them out - thanks. Thanks everyone - it seems that the general theme is to just try to have fun.

Ya you're right...45 minutes out the first time with the unavoidable 45 minutes back might be a bit much. Did I mention I intend to run with my phone in my pocket...

LMAO! *kitten*-to-seat resistance...priceless!

37 days until the event.... Right now i can probably run a mile non-stop but that's on the treadmill. I think starting tomorrow (today is weight lifting) I am just going to go home go out my front door and head in any direction for 45 minutes whether it is running or walking and then turn around and head back home. We'll…

Ya when i run outside i'm a complete mess. Not to mention its been rainy here lately but i guess i have to do what I have to do! Thanks for your input. I'm hoping its not as scary as it seems!

LMAO...! OP - sorry to hear of your issue. I've recently discovered running myself and have encountered a few annoyances but nothing as severe as this. Good luck

Anyone else BMR always calculate in the fricking 1,200 range? I am STARVING at that intake and would eat my own children if they sat next to me at night...which they won't because i'm so hungry that the aggravation just radiates off me... I work a desk job. Weigh 154. I put in a 1 lb a week loss and get 1,260. there is no…

I la la LOVE buffalo chicken anything. However - be warned Franks Red Hot has a STAGGERING amount of sodium. I've spent more time than I care to admit scouring every shelf in every supermarket attempting to find a "hot sauce" that tastes good AND is low in sodium. So far - nada. Anyone already figure out this balancing act?

i didn't click on the link above but i totally saw and made that same post. it was awesome! Already bought the ingredients to make it again. If its not it let me know and i'll copy it down for you.

Totally agree on Cauliflower crust. TIME CONSUMING, not to mention, messy as hell (i didn't have a food processor my first time around so i riced it using a cheese grader - CAULIFLOWER EVERYWHERE). Made Buffalo chicken pizza with the cauliflower crust. Given that it tasted so good i ate damn near every pizza that came out…

would LOVE to know what heart rate monitors you all are using. I am looking for one that's simple not too expensive but is reliable. I'm not gonna swim in it or need it to be bulletproof, its not going skydiving lol - just need to it to tell me the calories i've burned while exercising. Be it running on a treadmill or…

Hahahah reminds me of that joke: A woman (or man for whoever may be "sensitive" on this subject) screeches into the driveway and bursts through the door: "Honey pack your bags I won the freakin lottery!" Husband: "No *kitten*! What should i pack for, warm weather or cold weather?" Wife: "It doesn't matter, just get the f@!…

Ever try going commando? I've never thought of purchasing underwear just for exercising but i suppose you could shop it around and test some out. I go right to the gym from work so that's too much fuss for me. Just make sure your pants aren't see through!
-
THIS MADE MADE LAUGH OUT LOUD - NICELY DONE! I'm a huge "so's your face" and "your mother" fan. And no my children are not immune to these responses, but only when it doesn't make sense at all. I'd never "your mother" or "so's your face" them if they said something like "this is ugly" - too cruel. Still funny, but cruel.
-
I'd quote you all but i don't think there is a way to do it - thanks so much for all the information. HRM here i come...:)
-
No that's really good information. On the treadmills at the gym you stay in the "fat burn" category if you keep your heart rate within certain rates and generally i get to those rates when i'm walking fast - running generally puts me beyond the fat burn and into cardio rate. I tend to alternate between fast running and…
-
I agree, i thinkt he treadmill probably has a better gauge on the burn given that you can enter your weight and it knows how fast your going and for how long and at what incline. You know, all that jazz. since my issue goes the opposite way than yours (MFP says i burn MORE than the treadmill tells me) i always reduce the…
