I have been having the same issue. I lost 6 lbs the first week, then the next 3 nothing even after cutting calories to 1200 (plus more when I exercise so a lot of times 1800) and working out 5 days a week. If he hunts, then I would say prepare those meats in a more healthy way. Marinate, grill, etc. If he wants his bread and stuff, then that's an add on and you don't have to eat it yourself. I wonder the same thing also. I account for the calories and work them in, yet not losing. I was going to cut it out, then my husband brought home a six pack. So there goes that haha!

Even your blood cholesterol has a lot to do with genetics. I used to eat like crap and my numbers were always really good.

It just depends on what I'm doing and what meal it is. I work nights, so on the nights I work I usually count it as the day before. If I have a snack towards 5 am or later I will usually count it the next day. it all evens out anyway so I don't try to worry about it too much.

Like everyone said, he sounds like a total jerk and you should move on. Besides that, from what I'm gathering he is a type I and with habits like that he is putting himself into an early grave. Just because he is skinny doesn't mean he's healthy!

I don't wear it on a regular basis. It makes me sad when women say they can't go to the store or even to get the mail without it. I can't imagine being that uncomfortable in my own skin. :(
