well I used to think the numbers they give us based on our height was crazy until I learned that muscles weights more then fat, but is smaller then fat. I don't think that sounds nuts at all.

Yes, I know a lot of people who lost weight by walking as their only form of exercise, however they did eat healthy and they ate right. They also were very heavy to start with and they eventually turned to other exercises.

Your oatmeal doesn't getting stiff or icky from sitting in the fridge over night?? This is something I would totally be down for doing however I always thought the food would get icky??

No I agree the mental aspect of it would really work but to me I tried the 1200 cals a day before and it was hard. I think I'm over thinking this too much. I just need to use my knowledge of healthy and just listen to my body and really listen to it and not my cravings lol all while logging.

No I see ur point and I agree I don't think doing it for a small period of time will do significant harm but I don't think it will do any good either.

Well that was my thought especially if I'm looking to reach a point where its a healthy balanced lifestyle not a diet why the drastic cut!? I was expecting him to say like 1500 but he said even after two weeks its gonna be 1300 I'm just really uneasy about such a drastic cut.

I'm 4'10 and 150 pounds I want to loose roughly 20 pounds and tone and lose inches. I have done my bmr and it is def more then 1100.

right but I'm building a recipe in mfp recipe calculator and using the foods people entered before that doesn't mean there not wrong. I am talking about a different site or resource other then MFP when foods DON'T have food labels.

Thats what I hear that if you eat clean and you keep your carbs and protien and such on track then you don't have to worry about calories! I just think its the worse! I drink over a gallon of water every day lol so I don't think thats gonna help unfortunetyly. There is minimal junk in the house, but I still end up eating whatever is there junk or not. lol. I never go home starving due to my evening snack before dinner. And I pre log just about all my meals as best I can. lol. Not trying…

I agree! going super nuts and drasticly cutting something like sugar or sodium can have a huge negative effect. I would just try to make some healthy choices any time that you can. I personally just aim to stay under my calorie goal and keep my daily intake to 40% carbs, 30% protein and fat. But you really have to do what…
