I agree with everyone here about FitBit's customer support. Give them a call and I am sure they can help you out!

I am in for more information on this as well. I am pretty much in the same boat and would like to know some info from the more experienced users also. Sorry for no help but good job on the post full of info!

I am down for more motivated friends myself!

I am in for what other people recommend as well. I have been doing SL for about 6 months and am trying to change my diet to help with it. Right now I am doing MWF SL and T TH I am doing cardio/HIIT or some form of activity be it biking/hiking/climbing. I have been trying to up my protein/calorie intake on weight days as I…

Here is my Fitbit link; https://www.fitbit.com/user/28GX9W That is usually easier than using email!

You can add me as well; here is my link; https://www.fitbit.com/user/28GX9W Good luck with your new fitbit!

Congrats! Always nice to see a positive change!

I do SL MWF and I do P90X Plyo and Yoga on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. Every once and awhile I'll switch it up and do a week of P90X, and like McCloud33 said, it kicks your butt! It hurts my man stuff to not be able to finish a P90X workout like I did when I did the full 90 days. Oh well.

I use Strava as I use it for my biking as well. I like the tracking and awards you can get like other people have mentioned.
-
When did you get the email?
-
WHAT?!?! How did you get one already?! I am jelly!!! I got the email for the ChargeHR but not anything for the Surge.
-
Congrats on finding a routine you enjoy! I honestly look forward to going to the gym to see if I can throw the new weight every time! Also, like what has been said, don't be scared/ashamed of a de-load. It is much better then hurting your self and getting to work on your form is always good! Keep up the good work!!!

I know this is obvious but bodybuilding.com has a bunch of different stuff and lets you kinda customize workouts to your goals.

I never thought about the ankle weight thing, that is a super good idea. BOOM, stolen.
-
Yes, congrats!!

Awesome!

I have been doing SL for about 2 months religiously and I really really like it. I have the Android app with the added content that does weight calculator, warm-up sets, backup, and a couple other things. Makes the workout easy since it tells you EXACTLY what you need to do so all you do is focus on the workout. Like what…

Having your HR as well as your step count will give you a more accurate calorie burn vs. just steps alone. There isn't a "HUGE" difference in size. The Charge HR has a traditional watch band and is a little bit thicker to account for the HR monitor. The Charge is just the old Force in a different band. I say that because…

mitch16 with all the good advice! I agree with everything she has said, especially the shoe covers. I have mountain bike style clipless shoes and the neoprene covers save my feet on colder days, plus save you on the puddles and wet roads as well. A good clipless pedal with a big pad is great so you can ride in normal shoes…

Holy cheesus that was an amazing post! Most congrats to you and thank you for being such an inspiration to everyone!

I have the same pain but just in one hip. I am commenting as I want to know as well. But, I will add that my pain is lessened by stretching REALLY well before starting squates (always my first weight workout). Stretching includes deep squat stands, couch stretches, and some various other stretches with the first two…

Here is mine if anyone would like to add me! https://www.fitbit.com/user/28GX9W I will say that since it did the update, my force is now recognized as a Charge. Also, my steps are MUCH lower, but that could because of the cold weather and me not wanting to be outside.

Sorry for the short reply but I am about to run to a meeting, but have you looked into any of the new bands that are coming out/just came out that have a HRM in them? I know fitbit has a couple coming out first of 2015, and I think Basis has one now that does skin temp, HRM, and a couple other things maybe. Good luck on…
