i would say look at the content of your diet. i found reducing my calories would mean nothing if i was filling those calories with carb-heavy products. i say, set a good, decent calorie limit, but use it as a baseline only. reach it - dont aim to be under it. 20 or 30 over wont be noticed by your body. eat lots of healthy…

1, Report him. It is totally unacceptable. 2, Keep on it. You will get there. Do NOT stop going. Stick to your routine. These things happen (unfortunately) and these are the times that will be the ultimate test for you. 3, Remember, He who laughs last, laughs longest. Karma will come back and bite this loser on the…

If you're asking this question, maybe you already know what the answer would be... Put yourself in our shoes, and if you read this post and saw how a lady was being treated by her partner like this, wouldnt you advise to get out of it? Do yourself a favour and value yourself higher. Walk away.

I'm morbidly obese and went to the gym with no quarms. It was actually good, as i imagine many people lookin at me thinking 'good on her doing something', rather than walking past me eating thinking the exact opposite. no one even did look at me though, which i was a bit gutted about. i wanted attention, as i wanted to be…

My friend gave me a similar theme to work to (he is a personal trainer) but would let me only have fruit that has the word 'berry' in it. Also, his rule was only green veg. Dunno why - maybe one of the guys on here would know?

I know how you feel. I could eat eat eat all day. It's literally the guilt for the weigh-in and the egging on i get from friends on here that keeps me going. dont think if you go over your target a little that you have wasted your day, and you might as well have more crap to eat - the target is a guide only. now i seem to…

There are plenty of fruits and veg that are actually sweet enough to taste not good for you - sweet potatoes, oranges, apples, grapes. These might be enough to 'trick' your body into thinking they are not 'good for you' and start you on the road of consuming them regularly. I would suggest once you get into the swing of…

That is one of the best statements I have seen and sums up exactly how I feel. I do tend to find that when I slip though, I'm not going overboard but gradually incorporating more of the things I shouldn't be having so much of (these are only things like white bread and milk and sugary things and such). Then I need to snap…
