  • The meals taste great. The “KETO” is a little high in carbs for my liking depending on how low you’re trying to keep it. It gets a little repetitive as well. I just started getting factory meals again after a pause. Now I’m just using them for convenience and calorie counting, which I think they excel at.
  • PS, notice I said read the nerdfitness blog for inspiration. I wouldn't necessarily read it for nutritional advice.
  • You need to read this http://body-improvements.com/resources/eat/ and then read this http://nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero/ for some inspiration and then you need to lift heavy things 3 x week.
  • If yOu don't have access to weights I would suggest doing body weight exercises. Pushups and pull ups (and variations on both). For legs do variations on lunges and hold something heavy ish while doing lunges. Also can do some jumping while holding something over your head. Just some suggestions if you don't have access to…

  • I think you need to lift heavy. Check out http://body-improvements.com/ and search Steve Troutman's (stroutman81) posts on this site.
  • Thanks everyone. That's kind of what I was thinking, cook it rare and go from there. I'll try it out and see how it goes.
  • Do you have Pandora on your phone/iPod? I run to the Alternative Endurance channel.
  • Eat 300 extra tomorrow? It's not like your body has a magic clock and knows the difference. Or you could not eat them. I try to just average my goal for the week. I could do a month or a year or whatever but a week is long enough that I don't get hung up on trying to eat extra one night just because they're there but still…
  • Well you lost 18 lbs in 8 weeks so that is 2.25 lbs per week which was essentially your goal. So maybe a tad low assuming you ate exactly all your calories and ate back exorcise calories. Really that's pretty spot on. I think you're right though that was way to fast to be losing that quickly when you're already not super…
  • I'm assuming this is on a road bike? If so, I've done all three and clip-less is the way to go. I'm terrified of clip-less on a mountain bike. I tried them but just couldn't get over the the fear and found the benefit was way over shadowed by my timidness. However, on a road bike there really is no issue, they're super…
