Such amazing support! Wow!! THANK YOU everyone! I'm excited to be getting back into fitness and to be regaining control of my health.

I'm also doing 10 days at each level. For the person who didn't find level 1 challenging, try heavier weights! I did round 1 starting with soup cans and moving up to 5 lb weights. Now I use 8 lb weights for all but those dang anterior lunges with leg raises. Grrr! LOL!

Sports bra and shorts! And my tennis shoes of course :) I'm usually up shredding before my hubby and kids get up so I don't worry about being in just the sports bra. No one is there to see me look crazy!

Congrats on being so close to goal weight!!! Excited to see everyone's progress on April 1!

Thank you!!! If you haven't done the shred before, understand that MOST see progress in the form of toning and lost inches - not necessarily pounds. I only had a 2.2 net loss but lost 3.5 inches off my waist alone!!! My advice if the lack pf scale progress gets you down is to ignore it. If you must weigh yourself, remember…

LOL! Exactly Joey! :) I was just reading some of my old journals from 3 years ago. At the time I was 167 lbs trying to get to back to 155. Arrgh! So I am ready to do this! You are going to feel so accomplished when you see your body changing and feel yourself getting stronger and more fit. Let's SHRED people!!!!!

Thank you!!! Congrats on your big day! Hopefully the dress fits fabulously! :) I lost: ~2 inches from bust 3.5 inches from waist 1 inch from thigh 1.5 inches from my hips a tiny bit, like 1/4 inch from my bicep And I didn't do the shred everyday for 30 days. This time I'm going to try to do 30 full days (10 days at each…

Woohoo! Hopefully the group stays really active as the month goes on!

Something is better than nothing! Canned goods, water bottles, whatever works! I started shredding Jan 28 using soup cans. Today I was able to use 8 lb weights for some of the Level 1 exercises. Just stay at it and make sure you have your support network (even if it's only MFP) at hand. That'll help keep you motivated!

I'm only doing 30 DS. I'm going to aim for no rest days or maybe 1 rest day in between levels. I did about 22/30 days this last time and am happy with my results. I can't wait to see my results for March!

I just joined this group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/12548-30-day-shred-starting-march-1st Even though a couple of friends (who are long distance) are doing it with me. It'll be nice to have all that encouragement.

I, like others, don't unless I KNOW it's a goal they are working towards. Otherwise, it can seem insensitive. I had to tell my *step* daughter (we don't really use the step terms!) that it was rude to (constantly) comment on how "skinny" my daughter is. Yes, she's 5'7 and weighs 110 lbs (and eats like a horse). She didn't…
