Have you tried running with music on ? I find I put my headphones in and shut out the world otherwise Id never go.

Ive just started running a few times a week. I run for a minute, rest for a minue at the moment ( that is walk , not stop by the way !) and sometimes I set a challenge on where to run to next - i usually run in a park so maybe from the kids play area to the football goal posts, then again a bit of a walking rest. Already been said but Kinect Dance Central is fab. I feel really worked out after doing the fast paced ones ! Oh and workout dvds , I have about 8 or 9 I switch about, saves it getting boring. And you tube is a mine of workout dvds ! If you have XBOX live you can watch them on the tv instead of the laptop screen ! Failing…

Anything funsize chocolate wise, or flumps ! Just lately Ive been enjoying a hot chocolate with a biccie or two. And why not? Half the battle is learning to eat a healthy balanced diet - for me, a treat is just that now, it used to be the norm .... lesson learnt !

I usually eat about half my exercise calories back, I think MFP over estimates some calories burnt through exercise, Im lucky enough to have a heart rate monitor so I know EXACTLY how much Ive burnt off.

They do on most of the UK menus now, i think theyre trying to tackle an obesity epidemic !!! How late ?!!

Yeah I have been sticking to 500 kcals, and if I workout Im not eating them back , so I guess Im doing it right then ! Thanks :)

Tbh Id try and palm it off on someone else, take it to work and share it , its a nice thing to do and you get to stick to your calories, win win situation :)

Id say the heart rate monitor, I have a Polar FT4 , tells you how hard your working, where you need to be, calories burned and takes into account your age, weight, gender etc. I had a pedometer but it was lousy - it would add several steps here and there and sometimes not pick anything up.

i do 5:2 fasting , Im on 1200 a day then 2 days a week I detox on 500 kcals Ive lost 7lb in 3 weeks - shook up the scales nicely :)

Trying on a pair of old trousers and watching them fall to the floor again still done up at the waist ! Thats a "woah " moment !

fresh fruit salad is always good, my kids love it when I make it into a face or a picture! Pancakes arent too bad nutritionally, just avoid syrup I suppose !

that sounds extreme, I dont know how you could achieve the correct amount of vitamins, minerals, protein etc on just that small amount.

when i realised I wore the same two pairs of jeans and same 3 tops all the time, even though I have two closets full of clothes all too small .... and my boy came home upset cos another lad told him he had a "fat" mother. That was it .
